I loved Fruitvale Elementary School, i I am going into middle school next year, and i am verry sad to be leaving! The school needs some heavy pest control, close to the end-of-the-year there were alot of cokroaches in the hallways, it was very disturbing. But other then that i loved this school, and thank you,Mrs . Stewart!-k. Zopf

There is next to no supervision on the playground during recess which leads to a lot of students choosing that time of day to be aggressive towards other students. Students are severely punished for defending themselves.Teachers are over worked, forced to take on more than they can handle, angry, and frustrated, and as a result have very little patience left for the children or the parents. There is no punishment guideline in place, meaning the administration can punish your child however they see fit for any offense, slight or no, leaving the door wide open for discrimination. The district usually ignores any and all complaints from the parents so there is no way to help your child if you feel they are being treated unfairly. The emotional damage my family has experienced at Fruitvale will take a long time to repair. I can't imagine that it gets much worse than this. I will never trust this school with my children's education or well being ever again!
