These guys are awesome! Helped fix my bike. It ended up taking longer than expected so they let me demo a bike in the meantime. Also have great coffee and food in the back. Great atmosphere, love being able to bring my dog everytime. I recommend it to all my friends.

Fantastic place in town to rent e-bikes ! Friendly , local, and the best customer service …. And the prices are more than fair . Also- the coffee/sandwich shop behind the bike shop has the best breakfast burrito and iced coffee !

Grassroots cycles has been my bike shop of choice ever since I moved to grand junction in 2006. Employees have come and gone over that time, but Matt the owner has always been amazing to work with and done by right by me every time. They do excellent work on all makes and models and have a separate area to work on suspension systems. If you haven't been down there lately, go check them out! They are doing a really cool rental program now, and have a whole restaurant in the back with some of the best food in the valley. It should be on everyone's list to go visit, even if you don't ride bikes!

My favorite local shop. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The staff has deep bike industry roots and understanding of product/ parts options. Their mechanics are elite level riders and have high standards for all their work. Great fleet of demos and rentals. Having one of the best restaurants in town right out the back door doesn’t hurt.

Grassroots Cycles is the best local bike shop in town! The shop staff are always pumped to get you the answers you need, and to get you back on the trail no matter what type of bike you ride. Whether you wanna drop by the shop and pretend to be a bike nerd, or demo one of the latest models from the best bike brands, Grassroots is the shop for you. Matt, Tim and Collin have all endured my expectations and ignorance in deciding on a new bike. These guys are passionate about bikes, so their knowledge and expertise helped me make the best choice for me, rather than just trying to sell me a new bike. All things bike related, just do yourself a favor and drop by Grassroots Cycles. Matt has also created the best sandwiches in the valley! That’s right! Come demo a bike, then grab a sandwich and relax on the back patio, at Roots Gastrohub! What’s better than checking out new bikes and chomping on a meatball sub??

Matt runs an amazing shop and is super helpful about local trails and even went above and beyond when my bike needed repairs and the shop was closed. Food is 10/10, love breakfast sandwich and burrito! Love this shop will always come back!
