Dr. Asmus is very knowledgeable about my dog's cancer and offered some better pain care options. She started feeling better in just a few hours after our appt. Taylor and the other VTs were very kind, letting River relax in the exam room, away from other dogs, while I checked out and paid our bill (which was very reasonably priced). I'm so glad a coworker recommended this clinic! They are independently and locally owned too. I highly recommend them.

it cost us $17 a night to board our dog (under 30 pounds) - just moved to grand junction from austin texas and when the receptionist told me $17 over the phone i was like "seventy? oh okay... i heard right then, super cheap!" i've always felt more comfortable boarding our peanut with a vet, if anything goes wrong they can jump into action immediately and won't charge extra for a trip to the vet because, well... we boarded our dachshund for 6 days, and while she was there she got her flu shot and her nails trimmed. they gave her meds for some diarrhea she experienced after the flu shot, charged us for the meds... and ALTOGETHER the bill was $160. again... where i'm from this is super cheap. so lucky to have found a new vet/boarder for peanut so soon after our move. thanks, all pets!

As we own sight hounds, we were thrilled to learn Dr. K has a Greyhound. We took both our dogs to see him, and he was incredibly thorough. The techs are all excellent--knowledgeable, calm (helps with worried dogs) and patient. The place is spotless, the waiting room large enough so owners can keep their pets separate. Most of the staff have been there a long time, which says something about the environment. I first went in to inspect the place before making an appointment, and was impressed by the staff's attitudes, the ease of the clients, and the cleanliness.
