I have been a member of this bank since 2008 because of the low overdraft fees however, after this morning I plan to switch banks ASAP!! It is my 10th year anniversary today and I have reservations out of town that will now have to be cancelled (hopefully without penalty) due to the bank stealing my money. I got paid yesterday and was able to access my funds up until this morning right before leaving town. When I went to the grocery store my card was declined. When I checked my app it repeatedly told me "network error". When I went to the ATM at the gas station it declined my balance inquiry, and withdrawal of funds. When I went to the Bank's ATM same thing. So on top of everything now you have to add in the banks terrible hours of operation (only open Mon-Fri) and today is Saturday. Thanks for ruining my 10th year anniversary! There's nothing worse than a bank that takes your money without any explanation for days!!

Wow, what a great experience! My daughter and I went in for a loan to purchase her first car. Sara was wonderful! She made the process easy and fast. I will not be going anywhere else in the future.

I came in today to make my first payment on my vehicle loan. This is the first time I have ever been in this bank. Immediately I was not impressed! I couldn’t even make a payment using my debit card. Really??? That’s ridiculous!!! They told me that I could use their ATM machine for $2.50 to get cash to make my payment. Why would I pay to give you guys even more money? I’m considering refinancing through a different bank. My experience with this bank is a disappointment and it’s only the first day!

This was the first account I ever opened. They have been wonderful. I have had experience with a few credit unions in town and Rio has been the best by far. As long as I live here, I will never bank anywhere else.

After moving to Colorado, I needed to find a new bank. After a lot of research, I decided on Rio Grande Federal Credit Union. The employees have made doing business with them a pleasure. Joshua Mendoza stepped up when a complication arose & handled it like a pro! I highly recommend this Credit Union!!

They are heartless. Been with them for 30 years. My father in law died and they had no help for our family. Did not explain anything to anyone. Mailed our check to a address that we have not been at for over 12 years. Piss poor service.

Rio Grande Federal Credit Union is a very good quality financial institution. I have used them for personal accounts and was one of the first members to open business accounts when Rio Grande initiated this level of professional services. Loan projects often reveal more detail in the diversity of capabilities: the loan Rio set up for us went very smoothly. No issues at all. Additionally, the credit union building at 760 Rood Ave is designed by Blythe Group + co Architects (the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill of the Western Slope) and it is extremely well designed and built. The online banking system works well as does the Rio Grande app. For business purposes there are some functions for which we need JPM Chase, Fidelity & Wells Fargo, additionally, for Colorado comfortable, but wider territories, Vectra Bank (Zion Bancorp) is handy. The Credit Union is not-for-protit and this provides several benefits. Having processed transactions in the lobby countless times (often bringing one of our golden retrievers for treats from the tellers!), called in for a wide variety of reasons AND having Rio Grande connected to QuickBooks - I don't have any complaints. I feel that the outfit has a good spirit and is well run by the board of directors. If occasionally, a Rio employee makes a small error, I catch it and work through to a clear status. It doesn't bother me because Rio Grande FCU is a genuine part of the history of the West and of American and I am proud to be a member.

I have been at this Credit Union for over 25 years. Everyone there is always so Happy and Friendly. I really enjoy the warm atmosphere and wouldn't go any where else to do my Credit Union banking. Thanks for being a great place to bank. I appreciate all your hard work and dedication.

Love Rio. Been here my whole life. Banked at Bellco with my husband for a time and HATED it. Talked him into switching to Rio with me and he loves it too! Great customer service, loan dpt. is wonderful, and the drive through is speedy fast!
