I have been going to Rooted Valley Hair Company in Grand Junction for three years. I've gotten great cuts and styling from Morgan. Today I worked with Taylor to get some dark highlights to help me embrace my graying hair. Taylor had a clear vision, is an expert with color, and did a beach wave style that I want all the time. It was the refresh I needed. My daughter loved it too. The salon is beautiful - fun to explore with plants, jewelry, hats, cool hair ties, and music - a happy and energetic vibe. Enjoy a cappuccino too.

I had my hair cut and styled by Morgan and it was a really great experience. I'm new to the state and I've never been in an actual salon before so I was definitely nervous and not sure what to expect! For context, my hair was down to my lower back with split and dead ends from dyeing my hair earlier this year. I came in thinking I needed to take off at least just below the shoulder to get my hair healthy and promote more growth. Which I love my long hair so I didn't really want to do that but I thought I needed to. Morgan quickly and very kindly told me I wouldn't need to take off near as much as I thought. She of course would if that's what I wanted. She even showed me how much she thought really needed to be gone. And I was so happy she did that because I got to keep the length and have it be healthier. Once I'm able, I'd absolutely come back to this place and have my hair done by her. The rest of the staff I met were also very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my time here. Thank you Morgan if you ever see this. I genuinely appreciate you ❤️

I treated myself to self care a few days ago what a treat and a must do. Luna Rose skincare at Rooted Valley Hair Salon 10 out of 10 With Amber Martinez. My skin is so soft and glowing. I would 100% do this again. Relaxing and rejuvenating. I also got a touch up on brows tint to accent the color a bit from aging. Made my brows pop!

I came in with grown out bleach streaks that I wanted hidden, as well I needed a cut! I had Morgan as my stylist and she made me love my hair again. I felt very welcomed & will he recommend to friends/family!

I had the most amazing facial with Amber at Luna Rose, and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She tailored the treatment to my skin’s specific needs and walked me through every step, which I really appreciated. The dermaplaning was such a game-changer—my skin feels incredibly smooth, glowing, and refreshed. Amber’s expertise and attention to detail really shine through, you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients’ skin health. I left feeling like a new person, and I can’t wait to book my next appointment at Luna Rose!

I spent my birthday with Amber (Luna Rose Balance) getting the most AMAZING Hydra Facial ever. Literally everything was perfect. Her room is adorable, cozy and takes you from Downtown Grand Junction to another universe of pure relaxation. From the steam machine, to the gentleness of the products, and might I mention the scalp massage (sign me up for one of those daily!), all of it was perfection. I left with glowing skin ready to take on the world with a bare face. Might I add how genuine, personal, and welcoming Amber is! Seriously, this is the only place in GJ you should be going to get a facial. Your skin will thank you!

Taylor has been doing my hair for the last 3 years and it is perfect every time, she not only does an amazing job with my hair but she is a blast to spend time with! The salon is beautiful, bright, and clean with plants and local jewelry to purchase. I always love to buy some earrings when I get my hair done! All the girls working there are some of my most favorite people!

I can’t say enough great things about Rooted Valley Spa and Jewelry! My daughter bought an anklet here at the start of the summer, and she still wears it and absolutely loves it. The quality is amazing, and it’s held up so well, even with everyday wear. The shop is beautifully curated, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend Rooted Valley for unique jewelry and a great experience!
I see Taylor McKay every 4 weeks, and she’s absolutely amazing! She always knows exactly what I need, and my hair has never looked better. I also buy all my hair products here – they’ve got the best selection.
And if you’re looking for a fantastic massage, you have to book with Leslie. #magicalhands! Her vibro-acoustic massage bed is an experience unlike any other – so relaxing and rejuvenating.
Rooted Valley Hair Company deserves a 1 million star rating! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch care and service.

I bought this propagation in late August and it is doing awesome; sprouting new leaves and roots are coming in. Taylor stands by her plant props and is always interested in how they are doing.
She does my hair too and I’m always happy a refreshed leaving the salon. Love that her company name has triple meaning…hair, plants, and her connection and love of the area.

Rooted Valley is my go to place for a fantastic cut and color! Erin knows her stuff! You can even hop over to the tinsel chair and finish off your cut with some sparkles! I also love all the phenomenal plants they offer, the beautiful local jewelry and permanent jewelry they sell and the un-worldly massages on the vibroacustic bed with Leslie. I'm very happy with my 1st visit to see Morgan. She coverd my grays and my cut and style was exactly what I wanted. I fumbled around with the hair jargon but she was patient and looked at my inspiration photos. I Booked again for the near future to try highlights.
