Everytime my package hits this office promblems arise. I’m a University Professor and I always make sure to order 3 -4 days earlier than I should need for priority because as soon as it arrives in grand junction, you can bet it will stay there for at least 2-3 days, then leave, get lost, then finally maybe 10 days after ordering they find it and it’s out for delivery. I live in Craig. My pack said it left the grand junction office Monday early(it’s a 3 hour drive), and it never made it to the local Craig post office. No one can provide me any information and I’m bound to lose my job because the reference materials I REQUIRE to teach has been late the last 7 orders. Someone is not doing their job and it affects others. I never have ANY problems except with this office. It should be as simple as putting it in the truck and delivering it to the local post office just a few hours away, yet this never happens. I’m contacting everyone in the usps system from top to bottom and telling them that you guys are literally not performing the one duty you should perform. I’d be very grateful to find out you’ve all been fired because this is the least professional place I’ve ever dealt with. Find employees who take care in their positions and actually do their job. I even called and got through to them and the man was remarkably rude. How on earth could every pack I order make it from Austin Texas to grand junction in 2 days then from grand junction to Craig in 5-7 days? This is terribly upsetting and I’m going to continue to make calls until I figure out what is going on at this place. If I lose my job today because you’ve failed again I’ll stop at nothing to make sure the highest authority within the usps system takes notice and comes down there, drug test each and every one of you and fire those who don’t have an IQ over 75. The fact anyone at this office gets paid makes me sick to my stomach, you fail me every single time, even when I order 5 days early to ensure that I’ll get it in time after you guys make your 3 days of mistakes I still have yet to get a package on time. It’ll say delivery by Thursday, then Friday, then sat, then Monday, then Tuesday. Then it finally sends a notification that it’s moving within the system again but instead of taking 3 hours to get to the destination it gets lost and by Tuesday(5 days late) no one from my post office to grand junction or anyone at all within usps has any info on where my package is. Again, if I lose my job I will not stop until I’m certain that I’ve convinced the higher ups at usps that this facility needs to fire every single employee. Do your job, it’s the easiest job in the world. Scan, sort, deliver to next facility. How you manage to fail to do these 3 simple steps is beyond me but I’m so sick of it that I’ve lost my patience entirely. No doubt when they see this message they’ll single out my pack and make sure they lose it again purposely. And I stopped ordering express because literally every-time it makes it to grand junction overnight, then gets lost for a week or so, priority has proven faster. I’ve failed to meet so many very important due dates and every single time it’s because this facility fails to delivery on time, every single time.

Tired of my postman lazily not leaving my Saturday mail and making me have to drive clear across town to the distribution center to pick it up. Im in fruitvale and driving to i70 and 6/50 is stupid. Have your workers actually do their jobs please?

What I love about the local usps workers.... Well my packages move quickly all across the country and hit the GJ distribution center speed bump. Example 2 days to move from CA to Denver then Grand Junction it sits for 3 days until it makes its way to local delivery. Great job folks, your the speed bump of the USPS.

This is where you pick up live animals. There is public access but it's hard to find and you have to ignore the "no unauthorized access" signs to get there. Enter the parking lot from the east side of the building from 25 1/2 Rd and go straight towards the building. The sign that says BULK MAIL is what you're looking for. There is a small amount of parking - look for the small blue sign labeled "bulk mail customer parking". Use the door on the left to enter. This is NOT a regular post office, but a place to pick up packages and drop off bulk mail. They were very nice about getting my birds to me.

This is the worst place in the world!! They send everything to Denver to process just to come back to gj. After arriving its processed 3-6 times without being shipped. Till the next day or 2. This place should be shut down for wasting time and money.

This morning I contacted the Grand Junction Distribution Center regarding a package that I had sent to my son in Snowmass Village, but was going to be returned to me. The man who answered the phone only dealt with bulk mail, but connected me with someone he thought might be able to help me. The "maintenance" man with whom I was connected put me on hold while he contacted someone whom he thought would be able to help, and then apologized for the time it took to do so (not very long!). The woman to whom I again explained my situation, asked for pertinent information, took my number, and said she would look into it, and call me back. A short while later, she did call to let me know the package wasn't at their facility and that she was going to call the Snowmass Village Post Office to look further into the situation.Kudos to those people! Regardless of how this all plays out, I very much appreciate their kindness and effort, especially at this very busy time of year!

Throwing out a brand new mail sorting machine, to sort by hand? Why are you trying to alter an election and harm people by stalling mail delivery?
