I had a prescription ordered 3 days ago, itās still not in. I stopped by yesterday after I received a txt saying itās ready. It wasnāt ready. I stopped by this morning and it still wasnāt ready-they said it would be ready by 2 pm today. I came by at 5:15 pm and still not ready. āItāll be ready in 20 minutes, please leave and come backā you really think Iām going to trust my med will be ready just a few minutes before you close?? Thx but Iāve been waiting 2 days, I work 6-6 the next five days and donāt have time for your games. Slamming the window in my face 3x, hanging up on me was out of line.. I didnāt curse, yell, make threats or anything-your blonde pharmacist even told me I should go elsewhere for my meds bc I decided to park and wait? K cool but Iāve been in line 20 min ALREADY so whatās another 20? 2 days? Get your *staff* together! Suddenly you my meds were ready in ten minutes after I said I wasnāt leaving.. I hate to be that person, but if your staff had been less rude Iād be more empathetic. If you want your customers to empathize with you, empathize with them first. Thereās a reason āthe customer is always rightā Iām in healthcare too, ! Short staff isnāt an excuse to be a jerk!

I would give negative stars if I could to the pharmacy.
Walgreens store is fine, the pharmacy is absolutely TERRIBLE. They claim that insurance or the doctor is what will prevent your meds from being filled- theyāll say this even after the doctor calls personally to place a prescription order.
They donāt like to work, theyāre lazy, they donāt care about the people who need their meds.
Save the time and stress, go elsewhere- literally anywhere else but this Walgreens pharmacy.

Pulled up and surprisingly the drive through was empty, so I expected to be done quicky. After a few minutes of waiting I had to ring the call button, some one spoke " I'll be with you shortly " another 5 minutes went by and still no service, I pushed the button again, and again I got "I'll be with you shortly" they did not give me a chance to reply before hanging up. Finally got a pharmacist and right off the bat they where rude and condescending. Mentioned to the pharmacist that they should hire some more people, they replied, " we're hiring, do you wanna work here?" shocked, I replied no I don't not, and they had the audacity to say " well I don't want to work here either "
Completely unacceptable, and it makes me wonder why they hired someone who doesn't understand customer service. I'm convinced they only walked over to help once they saw a line forming behind me.
Not even an apology for the wait time. Completely disappointed š especially when it involves your own personal health.

Apparently there is ZERO accountability on the behavior of Bill, the Pharmacist! Bill thinks it is best to have a stare off show down with clients instead of getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner. I wonder if being a jerk is part of the job description because that is what he does best. Anyway, I have over twenty prescriptions that I will be transferring as a DIRECT result of Bill's unprofessional uncaring behavior. My leaving will likely come as a relief as there will be less work to do and less customer service will be going on. Additionally, the overall customer service is nonexistent as the cashiers think it is best to argue with customers instead of admitting errors and apologizing for mistakes. The store manager does not even know what "customer service" means either. Walgreens in of itself is a JOKE! They cannot figure out why they are losing money? They deserve to go out of business.

Long waits short staffed i understand but giving out incorrect information i dont. This is the second time in 6 months I've been given wrong information about a medication refill. 1st time, after 9 months of getting 3 month supply I was told that medications been on back order for 2 years we never give 3 month supply and only gave me 1 month, I was headed out of the country and subsequently had 2 go 2 weeks without my medication. Today go for the 2nd half of a partial refill that I was told would be ready 1 day after initial pick up,5 days later told it's on backorder....then all the sudden they find it on the shelf. Not impressed.

On Thursday 7/11 at 1603 I called Walgreens at 240 Park Drive in Grand Junction CO. I spoke with the GM Keith and told him I'd be leaving for PTO the week following and I was wondering when I could pick up my ADHD medication. I filled last month on 6/16. My insurance pays 2 days early and Keith confirmed I could pick it up today, Sunday 7/14. I called the pharmacy today to ask when my medication would be ready. Cheryl, the only pharmacist working on 7/14, told me "nope! You can't get it til 7/16". I explained to her I had already spoken with someone and explained my situation. She went on to talk to me in the most insulting demeaning way possible. She ended the conversation with "not on my watch, sweetie". Referring to filling my prescription two days earlier than last month. Due to me knowing Walgreens does allow 2 days grace for prescription refills, and my insurance is willing to pay for it, I know Cheryl is doing this for her own pleasure and power trip. This is not my first encounter with Cheryl. Due to the medication I'm on she treats me as if I'm a drug addict trying to get a fix. I can assure you that as an Operations Manager for one of the largest health care companies in the world, I am not. I spoke with the sweetest girl when I called the store to complain. She told me that an extraordinary amount of customers complain about her. Even to corporate. I'll be making sure this poor girl is not retaliated against for speaking with me. Cheryl even speaks this way to her teammates- that's bad enough. You allow her to speak to your customers/patients that way too? Why does Walgreens allow this? I plan to talk to my lawyer (yes I actually have one) about discrimination based on mental disorders due to how Cheryl has spoken to me. She made me feel sub-human and was extremely rude. Again, this has happened in months prior and I blew it off as a bad day for her. I now know that's not the case. Not to mention Walgreens consistently tells me I can pick my prescription up "tomorrow" then say "oops! don't have it in stock, you have to wait for our delivery in the next 1-2 days". That's unacceptable. People depend on their medication. I would like to pick my medicine up tomorrow 7/15 by 10 am.
Keith- I will call you tomorrow morning to address this. Based on our conversation Thursday and how reasonable you were, I'm hoping to close the BBB case tomorrow.
Cheryl needs to undergo additional sensitivity training to deal with the public especially since she deals with patient medications.
BBB complaint has been filed and a copy of that document has been saved if an attorney is needed.

Never prepared with enough medication to fill a reoccurring prescription. Also never ready when they say it will.
