We stayed here a great deal of the summer and its is an AWESOME place. The camground location is pristine. It's one mile from the western gateway of RMNP. Moose travel through the campground on a weekly basis. The owners, managers, and staff are passionate about doing whatever necessary to ensure your stay is great. The amenities are top notch. You've gotta stay here if you want to visit RMNP.

We stayed in K12 cabin. Everything was perfect…. Near to west side of RMNP entrance, Cabin size , clean and spacious bathroom, perfect for kids, bunk beds and their mattresses but noisy main bed . Whole night whenever me or my husband wanted to change sides…. the squeaky sound. Please fix the bed!I want to give you six stars but because of the bed ……only 4 ⭐️

We stayed two nights in Site 22. It is W & E only. The site backs up to nature & has its own path up the hill to a lovely overlook. The people working here were very friendly & helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again. Only drawback was the high price tag. I guess that’s what you pay for close access to RMNP and Grand Lake.Restrooms: The restroom was clean & spacious. I had a very nice shower.

We were camping in RMNP and were able to stop in for a shower. The facilities were nice and clean, individual shower stalls, but the best part was the staff! They were all so friendly and helpful.

My family and I traveled to 15 states on a road trip. We tent camped and stayed at mostly at KOA’s. Our favorite spot ended being Grand Lake KOA. The Location is awesome very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. It’s very clean, maintained, quiet, wildlife on property (moose), safe they lock the doors at night but can unlock with a code, very friendly staff. My kids want to come back. I think another reviewer was complaining about mice which I did not see. We did see 2 Pikas or maybe Voles they were quick, but not a complaint. You are in the wilderness you are going to see animals, bugs, etc. If you don’t have smaller animals then you won’t have larger ones. I hope to visit again soon. 5/5 stars.

The positive statements in other reviews re staff, facilities and cleanliness are true. However our site had MANY mice running around and mice holes at the campsite.Despite going to this campground for several years in a row, will not return unless the mice infestation problem is resolved. Note- we had never seen a single mouse in previous years.

Every spot in the park is beautiful. We even had a couple moose walk through our campsite one morning! The laundry and shower facilities are nice and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. This park is right by the entrance to Rocky Mtn Natl Park - a must-see! We will come back for sure!
