This is a busy post office. If you come in with your tracking number and know rhe label of your box the post master who is doing hands on work and the counter clerk Christy are phenomenal. If they can not accomodate you at the minute of your visit they will work with you within reasonable means. This is a clean, efficient, hiker friendly post office.

The staffers are friendly and helpful, but it's hard to pick up boxes during their 8am-4pm M-F hours - I work 30 mins away and cannot get there during those hours unless I use personal or vacation time. It would be super helpful if they were open a few hours on Saturdays or even by 7:30 am during the week... It's a bit frustrating because there is no residential service at all, and my condo is a block away from the post office! Perhaps more lockers, and larger ones would solve the problem if they cannot open up earlier each day or on Saturdays... Love living up here, but getting mail is a constant headache...

I love how hard this place works. Had trouble getting mail delivered and was instantly helped to resolve the matter. Thank you!

EDIT: after going to the post office to inquire about the missing packages, i came home to find the delivery guy at my front doorstep harassing my husband and giving me an attitude/ yelling at us saying it’s my fault he misplaced my mail. He also showed up with a girl who made fun of how many packages we order.Always too busy to help - Two packages that I desperately need have been marked as "delivered to mailbox" on the tracking number. Go into the post office to ask where they are and are given the runaround. "Oh no we can't look that up now. I'll have my post master call you tomorrow." Last time this happened, the post master never called us, and they never helped find my packages. I had to go door-to-door in my community to search for my packages, only to find that one of their mail people delivered mine and half the communities packages all to one house.

It was the worst usps i have ever been. Staff is very rude and it is like they do not want to work.

Like most of the county, they are indeed understaffed. But the ladies who work at this location are rockstars. They’re always hustling… with smiles!

Been dealing with them for last 2 summers. They are the most rude and uncaring employees we have ever encountered. They are never willing to help on situations requiring a little effort and all act like they hate their jobs. They do nothing to enhance the experience of tourists and promote the town as welcoming visitors

I think they are great! For a small town, we are lucky to have a full service place like this.

Woman working on 6/30/21 at 2pm was extremely rude and unhelpful. Could have taken an extra 30 seconds to explain the system to me but instead explained she had no time to assist me and sent me on my way. Still unsure how to verify our package is at this location and hope to find someone more eager to help in the future.

Grand Lake is the worst post office for customer service. The ladies at the front and who sort mail are so crabby and not helpful. I don't know why you would get a customer service position when you are so rude to people. Please talk to your workers and get them attitude adjustment.

Whereas i can say that most small town post offices are helpful and friendly, the service i just received was the opposite. The young blond counter later not only seemed annoyed i kept distance from the counter but that i couldnt talk clearly enough. I just walked 2mi in snow to get there so my lips were frozen. Then when attempting to tell her my question about an undeliverable amazon shipment, she cut me off rudely and said if we say its undeliverable, its no longer here .. we dont hang on to them. My shipment was marked undeliverable late Friday. Its monday morning. I was so caught off guard i dint attempt to make that point. U think they dont like Amazon much (maybe too much work for them) and dont like dealing much with masks.
