Took my car, cause car jerk on highway speed and they told me my transmission was going out. They said it cost $9,000 for new transmission. So took it to another mechanic and he said it was overfill so he drain it and put fluid. Now it runs great no issues. So always get second opinion.

Had my car there for about a month back in July for a transmission module control when they called me that my car was done they said they battery was dead picked my car up changed battery and alternator and now the battery dies after a day not sure what they did to my car
I believe the warranty is over its been more then 90 days

I brought my car here TWO years ago for these people to diagnose, knowing something was wrong with my transmission. They told me I needed a whole new transmission and they quoted me $4k-$6k. I asked them to try and flush the transmission and check the filter, which they REFUSED, even though I was totally willing to pay for that service. SO FOR TWO YEARS I went without my vehicle trying to save to get it fixed, just to get a second opinion from a family friend that knows cars. He flushed the transmission, put in new fluid, and my car runs just like it used to. Feels like these guys either don’t know what they’re doing or they were just trying to get a big payout. This is exactly why women don’t trust mechanics.

When they say they will diagnose for free don’t believe it, they will take the transmission apart and give you the results but they will not put it back together unless you pay. They don’t tell you this before hand, Lowkey a scam. Also guy at the counter doesn’t know what he is talking about at all, always seemed so unsure of everything.

Great service and communication. Chance did a great job of diagnosing our issue and explaining the repair process in detail to us, even when we really don't know much about transmissions. Would highly recommend!

Chuck and his team are awesome. My daughter, who attended college in Colorado, had the transmission go out in the car she had. We live in SE Louisiana and had to randomly pick a place to take the car. We lucked out big time. We decided the repair was more than the car was worth and did not have the work done. Chuck refused to charge us a diagnostic fee or accept money for storage (he had the car for several weeks while we made travel arraignments). He also directed us to a salvage yard that paid us for the vehicle. If we lived in Colorado, he would get all our business and all our friends and family’s business. Thanks Chuck!!

Recently had a transmission replaced and I cannot express enough how amazing these guys are! They called to let me know that the new transmission they just put in wasn't sounding up to par and they were not satisfied with it so reordered another one to put in. I also needed my breaks done but was just going to have a friend do it since I had bought the parts already. They let me know if I brought them in he’d throw them on for me no extra charge. Just because they were going to be right there anyways. Even with having to replace the transmission twice I only was without my vehicle for two weeks. Most places try to nickel and dime you but not them. They searched for the best deal possible and serviced with quality care. Not something you come around very often. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Hands the best shop I have ever been to. We were traveling through from out of state and they got us right in and found the problem. The specific part we needed was discontinued and they figured out another part that would make it work. Had us back on the road in under 4 hours. The manager even gave us the keys to his own personal car to use. Chuck and Krispen are hands down two of the best dudes I’ve ever met and I cant say enough good things about them.

A Big Shout out to the gentlemen of Aamco. I had transmission problem and they knew my history of being on SS a widow and a disease. Mr Chuck Shelly, Mr deAngelo Duran, chance Carpenter and Johnnie Gaines all felt bad for me and helped me get a transmission and installed it for free because they saw a Bible verse that read that if widows or children were in need . They stepped in and helped. These gentlemen went over and beyond to help me. I will always keep them in my prayers and I commend them for what they did. They are professional, kind caring people that you don’t see very often these days. They are excellent mechanics and they are honest and care about your needs. Chuck and chance are quite possibly the easiest mechanics that I have ever dealt with . I had just experienced a nightmare situation with a shade tree mechanic. This left my truck in bad shape and I had no idea what I was going to do to fix it. I brought it to Chuck he just smiled and calmly told me we would get it taken care of. He called me the next day with a comprehensive answer with the problem was and how to fix it. Since I've gotten it back everything runs smooth. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles to them in the future

Super honest guys and amazing work! The technician suggested I call the dealership to see if the fix was still under warranty. They helped me get everything sorted, and it took Aamco longer to get paid from the warranty, so I couldn’t believe a company would’ve suggested this. They saved me tons of money! Thankful for this company.
