0 stars - Terrible Customer Service Experience
I've had the displeasure of visiting this store twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were abysmal. The first time, I was searching for a tow hitch for camping and was assured by the staff that they had it in stock. However, when I asked them to check their system to confirm availability at another location, they flat-out refused, claiming they were out of stock without bothering to look further. The staff simply sat there, looking uninterested and unhelpful.
Fast-forward to my second visit on July 5th, where my husband and I returned a part we purchased. We were hoping to drop off the return at this store since it was conveniently located near us, but once again, we were met with poor service. The staff seemed put off by the fact that we wanted to do a return receipt and didn't know how to process it. The representative was completely unfamiliar with the part and came across as rude and unwilling to help.
To make matters worse, they claimed that they're not integrated with their other stores yet, which is unacceptable for a business that's supposed to be providing customer service. It's clear that this store is struggling to get things right.
Needless to say, I will never set foot in this store again. If you value your time and sanity, avoid this place at all costs.

Spent 300 on a new battery and some how got treated like I was stealing from them I won't be going back. I literally had to do the cashier job for them because they didn't know how to do the system themselves with a gift card on a phone. horrible customer service. I love it when they take my money and treat me like trash for spending it

Employee gave me an oxygen sensor that did not fit my vehicle and the store refused to accept a return. They do not disclose that these parts are not refundable until after they're purchased. Highly unprofessional.

My car wouldn’t start yesterday at work. I contacted my fiancé, who came to this establishment and bought a new battery for my car, prepared to change the battery. I got a jump, made it home, and without installing the newly purchased battery, we learned it was a faulty connection issue. The business would not return the unused battery within 12 hours of purchase, and at the time of purchase did not disclose that this product was not returnable, nor is this information public in the battery section of the store, or on the receipt or packaging of the battery. Manager Anna was not understanding or helpful in interacting with us. Horrible customer service and general store policy to not take care of customers.

Wish I would have started shopping here long ago! I do all my own repairs and upgrades on 4 vehicles , so I have purchased many parts from auto stores. You might get some perks here and there. My first purchase at Advanced Auto I received 85 cents off fuel and I have nonstop perks bucks to use in store. Won't shop anywhere else.

Terrible service from the main manager. My husband attempted to return unopened and unused spark plugs and the manager refused to honor the store policy saying they were considered electrical items. I contacted the main store who told me this was not the case and the store on 23rd took my return easily no questions asked. I am not sure why they have a manger who is rude and doesn’t even know her own store policies. I do want to give a thank you to the other gentleman working who also pointed my husband in the direction of the 23rd store as they even knew their manager was incorrect. Overall terrible customer service from the manager.

The entire staff was very friendly. I called to confirm that they were a UPS "drop off/pickup" location and sure as heck they are so I drove over there to drop off a package and every employee I observed while taking care of My UPS business was extremely polite and seemed to know what they were talking about; I encountered a middle aged woman out in the parking lot who was being helped by an associate and when I walked back out there was a second associate who were now both helping the gal informing her that whatever part she thought she needed wasn't necessary and confirmed that the part was still good. I've been in the store before simply to buy car cleaning products and had the same awesome experience. Thank you all at Advance Auto for continuing to demonstrate true professionalism and genuine concern for your consumers.
