Our 1999 VW Bug had damage to the passenger door. The outcome after this company performed the restoration was AWESOME. I highly recommend them for your auto body repairs!!!

Do not bring your vehicle here! At first they work with you but I had no idea they had a mechanic working on my Jeep that didn't even put the transmission together correctly. We've spent two thousand on extra repairs that weren't done correctly through Chavez's mechanic. When we called to make it right they said they couldn't help ..

Won't let vehicle go even though insurance is the one paying for the damage. They are knowingly doing something illegal but don't care

I've got a 1st generation facelift (89'-92') Standard Transmission 2.9l 2wd Ford Ranger that needed some cosmetic and practical repairs. I've started to make mechanical repairs to it and figured it was about time that I started to tackle some of the body work. Right now, one of my bigger issues has been an ill fitting front hood. It had a massive gap (vertically/horizontally) on the passenger side that would allow water to hit my starter solenoid, battery, and fuse boxes whenever I went through the car wash, making starting the vehicle push-start affair. There was another issue that happened every time I went to pop the hood to work on my truck. It would quite literally "pop" because the back of the hood would get caught on the cowl and after forcing it open it would make an audible bang before freeing it up to prop it up using the hood prop rod. This was damaging the hood and cowl, and exacerbating the paint issues on the cowl and hood. I went to Chavez Auto Rebuilders to get this rectified and opted to only do the repairs to fix the placement and level of the hood without dent or paint. I dropped my truck off at 8am and got a call to pick it up at 11am. Within three hours they were able to sort out my hood so it opened/closed freely. The person who helped me was personable and professional. To top it all off let's just say it was on the low end of the usual $100-$500 for hood bodywork repair. Overall I'm very please with the personnel, results, speed, and price of Chavez Auto Rebuilders and I'd definitely recommend it to folks looking for auto body repair.I'm looking forward to working with them to do a reasonably priced, but high quality two-tone paint job with body/dent repair using only minimal bondo with and emphasis on old-school dent repair (push, pull, rolling, etc...).

My car was backed into and damaged while I was shopping at Walmart, but I didn't discover the damage until a couple of days later. I made a claim to my auto insurance company and selected Chavez Auto Body, LLC, to make the repairs. They did an excellent job repairing the damage to my car. I am very pleased by their professionalism and detailed work. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs auto or truck body repair.

They never answer the Mexitel line and it is impossible on the internet either and you call the consulate and they don't make an appointment for you either.
