One of those shiny spots in the gritty end of town.
There's a lot of delightfully cheap stuff here, even brand name stuff at a discount.
As with everywhere I go, it's the people that make it for me, and the people here seem to smile a lot. If you look the least bit like you can't find something, an employee will generally show up and offer assistance.
Lots of smiles in the checkout. You make a guy feel welcome.

I have never met anyone so rude then the little girl cashiering and the manager that I called to take care of the situation!! I fought for this country and this is how I'm repaid!! Just because she couldn't get my debit card to work!!
I want to talk to the owner of this establishment!! You need to consider who you have working in your store!! I will be taking this as far as I can until those two immature personal are taken care of and lose their jobs!!

One doesn't necessarily expect good customer service at a bargain store but I encountered it here. The people here were very helpful and friendly. I had a great experience.

I like Family Dollar it's the closest to a grocery store that is closest to me. They got good deals a lot of Coupon Deals they got a lot of everything almost everything you need there's a few times I've gone in and to pick things a few things up and they don't have what I need, but I usually talk to the checker, customer service,or management to see if they carry the product which they usually do, but are temporarily out. The prices of pretty reasonable even with inflation their hours are pretty good as well they are open until 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.(correct me if I'm wrong). They have frozen food, and dairy products, a lot of last minute items we always forget, they carry!!!! I suggest if you've never been, give them a try . Youll find items a person would have thought we're non-existent any longer, you'll find all kinds of goodies there . I'm sure you'll find something, there's something for everyone...

Got yelled at for bringing my purse inside and was told I had to leave it up front with a stranger? Yeah no thanks. There's cameras everywhere. Will never come back here.

yeah, I just wanted to comment on the brooms that I buy, I can't believe there are 5 dollars now, and they're making them smaller. What is up with that I buy them for my company and now they wont work they're too small, I am not too happy about that, because now I have to change stores just because of that

I have to say this is not the best family dollar our there ... not super stocked... it just gave a not so clean sensation... also (personally) it looked unorganized.there is a dollar store not too much further...
