This law firm has been extremely easy to get in contact with and get a completely free consultation. I am dealing with workers compensation right now and my claim looked like it was not going in my favor. I called this place and the first person to help me was Britton Morrell and he provided me with so much information and helped me understand exactly what I needed to do to navigate the rest of the process. He used language that was very easy for me to understand and I feel like for a free consultation it was way more information and help than I thought I would get.When my claim looked like it was getting denied I reached out again and heard back within 24 hrs and dealt with Shelia. She explained she has been on both sides of the injured worker and workers comp. She was also extremely knowledgeable and explained things very well.I ended up not using them but their free consultations were extremely valuable and am very grateful for Kaplan Morrell. Michael Kaplan is the BEST EEEEEEVER!!! In 2013, after a work comp accident in NO, an attorney would take my case because there just wasn't enough money it it for them. But Michael did! He told me from the beginning that he would be with me until the end, and he made good on his promise to me for the next 7 years. Yes, it took that long because I was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS. At the time, the dr's said that it was just a possibility but after testing it was confirmed and the dr's contacted Michael, who then contacted me, from Spain where he was also helping people just like me. Even thousands of miles away from Colorado, Michael was on top of my case and talked me through the most difficult time of my life! He had to peel me off the ceiling a few times and did so with grace. THANK YOU, Michael! Britton was referred to me by a friend while I was laying in the hospitalcoming to the realization of what had just happened to me.After notifying my former employer that I was in the hospital the informed me that I had be let go.Next the workers comp company denied coverage.With mounting medical bills and an injury that would impact me for the rest of my life.This was a very scary situation to be in.My first call with Britton he told me he would fight like hell for me and today after everything has been said and done. I 100% believe he followed through his word.Every step of he or someone from his staff would check in and explain what happened happening with my case.Hopefully I will never be in a position where I would need to use him again but I can say without a doubt he would be my first call.Thank you Britton!

Mr. Kaplan took my case after several other attorneys had turned it down. My husband was a nurse who passed away as a result of being exposed to COVID which occurred at his place of employment. Mike made no false promises. Mike told me from the start it would be difficult to prove when and where his COVID exposure took place. Mike was still willing to take the case and advocate for my deceased spouse. After much work and negotiations Mike was successful in obtaining a settlement. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his team. Mike was always sensitive to the fact that I was a grieving widow and was kind enough to listen when I needed to vent. This firm is reliable, honest, trust-worthy and they work hard for their clients. I am so happy to have had this firm on my side. Thank you for all you did for me and continue to do for others.

I was suffering from carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve compression due to my work. This required two surgeries, one on each hand/arm. When I returned to work after my first surgery, my company put me on a performance improvement plan without regard for me healing from surgery and knowing that I had another surgery coming up. I was distraught, knowing there was likely no way I could make the aggressive deadlines I was given due to my physical condition. I'm so naive, I literally Googled "what to do if your company is trying to fire you due to a condition caused by your job" and of course Worker's Comp came up. I reached out to a few attorneys in the area. One only returned my call after I followed up, and even then, it was a paralegal who told me that they are so busy, they don't really do carpal tunnel work unless you want to pay for it yourself. And of course, I already realized that I wouldn't earn anyone much money since I hadn't lost a limb nor am I permanently disabled.I began researching what to do on my own. Do I file with the state or tell my company first or what? Then I received a return call from Mr. Morrell. He confirmed what the other practice told me, but he also answered my questions and gave me free advice on how to proceed with my company and the state. I literally used his words when I reached out to my HR department. And it protected me from being unfairly fired!If I ever have a more serious worker's comp case or know anyone who does, I will definitely send them to Britton Morrell at Kaplan Morrell. He was kind, patient, and thorough. And he went above and beyond for a non-client! Imagine how much more he puts into his actual clients.
