Let me start by saying the owner of the apartment building sucks never wanted to do anything to fix anything… after 3 or 4 property management companies we finally got Long Realty & Property Management. For the first time we told we had a new property management team they worked with us on fixing things well as much as possible due to the owner. I spoke to Joy she is wonderful… we are moving to a new property tomorrow I am so happy Joy helped us get to a better neighborhood she is heaven sent. Thank You so very much… Carole Vincent

Not only is Joy and this company complete slumlords (see previous reviews attached) they work for the owners & do not care about tenants, their health or safety. The way
ter here is undrinkable. I moved into one of their properties in April (under false pretenses the current tenant Ian Anderson lied to me about adding me to the lease and has since become extremely abusive-- I offerred to take over the property as was our original agreement) but when you try to communicate with them you either hear nothing back, (we've had a water leak for four months), or Joy calls and is hysterical. At this point I am just documenting my roommates' abuses towards me, which Joy ignores. My two children live with me, one is a teenager and we found all sorts of illegal cameras & mics in the house & he was stalking me. At one point Joy offerred to help me get out of the situation, offerring my initial invrstment back and $1500 to move. I have provided her tons of evidence of his abuses & even have witnesses & the police have been called several times on him, now she does nothing.
Her total lack of care & professionalism have not only scarred me when I tried to work with her BC I didnt want to uproot my two ND children after we were lied to, but caused me severe mental health problems & stress as well as a job. In spite of this I have maintained the property while the other tenant does nothing.
This company only cares about money & appearrances & people with children should DEFINITELY never rent from them because the state of some of their properties is unfit for kids to live in (I spent about $1000 of personal money & hours making the place liveable after the previous tenant).
It takes them 3 months to reply to anything so Good Luck! I highly advise you to look elsewhere.

Joy and the owner of the pinnacle Ranch condo they manage refuses to give us the rest of our security deposit and claims that giving us less that $200 dollars out of the full $1295 is our deposit back. We lived there for 7 years and it appears this scamming, non ethical company made up repairs for damages that were not existent to renovate the condo and raise the price. Be very wary with them as you can end up in this similar situation.

I had rented a studio apartment about 5 years ago. One day I got a letter from the old landlord saying that I needed to move because I didn't have a new lease. Turns out that I had a new landlord but never new that. I had gotten the phone number from the old landlord for the new landlords. Well I thought I had a new lease because I was paying my rent money until December 6th I get a letter from I guess the old landlord saying that I needed to get out before the 31st of December. I called both landlords and they said that I need to talk with each other about a new lease. I have had my brother move in with me because of his Parkinson and the fact that he lost his wife in May. We both have called both landlords to see about a new lease. This has been going on since December 6th without any response from anyone. They are very bad with communication and they have bad management.

I called Joy on the verge of a meltdown because I was having issues with a big box property management company that failed to rent my unit for three months and they only advice they had was to keep lowering the price, even though it was priced significantly under-market and they had multiple applicants fall through.I had tried plenty of other larger outfits, but they all seemed the same- hidden fees, getting transferred to multiple contacts throughout the process, gouging tenants. I felt like I was treated as a bunch of dollar signs instead of a human being.When I first spoke with Joy, I was immediately put at ease that a lot of property management companies have become shady by up charging owners and tenants for work that should just be considered the cost of doing business, but she does not do any of that. Her goal is to find a good tenant at a fair price and be upfront about her costs. It was so refreshing.I am so happy to have signed with her and know she will get my unit rented out in no time by being honest and upfront. I live 1,500 miles away in a town that isn't easy to travel out of and I can be at ease knowing that she will be taking care of my place in my absence with no surprises.

I've worked with Joy and her team several times over the past 8 years. She's assisted me with buying and selling my homes and has always been there for random questions that come up. Her knowledge of the industry is top notch and I wouldn't work with anyone else. I look forward to using her as a property manager in the future.

I was having trouble renting one of my properties in the Denver metro area when I was recommended to Long Realty. I was very surprised how quickly my phone call was returned and the level of professionalism that I received. I have two other properties that I will be giving them to handle so I can enjoy my retirement, Thank you.

Joy and the owner of the condo at Pinnacle Ranch are conniving scammers with no integrity or any respectable values dealing with good tenants. We lived at their property for almost 7 years and left it in great condition with normal wear and tear after all those years living there. Not only did she take months to give us the deposit but took 90% of the security deposit. They clearly wanted a money grab to renovate the condo for the next tenant and falsely stated that there were damages and up-charged on all of them. Think twice about dealing with this company because it becomes a huge headache when you move out and the lack of communication and professionalism from Joy leads to the worst rental experience.

Joy is one of the rudest inconsiderate people I have ever met she lies to get you to move in and once you are in then she does everything in her power to make you feel uncomfortable and want to break your lease to get out.
