My recent experience at Lowe's Home Improvement store left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. Upon attempting to return an item lacking a barcode, I was redirected to the original store of purchase, resulting in an hour wasted driving back and forth. To my dismay, upon arrival, I discovered that they were unable to process a refund for the item. This ordeal not only consumed valuable time but also highlighted a glaring inefficiency in their customer service and return policies. My confidence in Lowe's has been significantly diminished, and I am left feeling thoroughly dissatisfied with this lackluster experience.

The cabinets department has the worst customer service imaginable. My husband and I requested a quote in December. Somebody came out to our house to measure and provide a quote on Jan. 4, and he had no idea what plans we’d discussed with the salesperson. Then, we were told we’d have a quote in a few days. Two weeks passed, and no quote. I called in no less than 6 times, being told every time that our saleswoman would call me back. She finally did after the 6th attempt and told me we’d have a quote early the next week. Two more weeks passed, and nothing. I called back again yesterday morning and was assured that she’d call back when she came in. I got no call back. I called in again this morning, was transferred to her desk and hung up on. I called back and was told her phone wasn’t working and that she’d call me back on her cell phone in “just a few seconds”. I’m still waiting. All I want is a refund so I can end this interaction and get actual service from Home Depot.Update: My husband called in two weeks ago and was finally told that they would issue a refund. We still have not received a refund. I just want my money back.

The professionals at the Pro desk help keep my handyman small business, The Ernest Carpenter, going strong. Sarah and Mike are always on top of everything, and I know we can always count on them whether we've got a big job, or a small one. We developed a rapore years ago, and it's nice to be able to get the type of customer support from a big box store as you would a small mom and pop. They always treat us like family.Additionally, sometimes the paint department can be hit or miss at some Lowes stores, but not the Greenwood Village store. Their paint department is ran by Sherwin Williams representatives, Steve and (recently arrived but previously known) Zack, who always makes us feel like VIPs every time we visit.Shout out to those who also support these parts of the store, such as Ryan, Hector, Phil, and more. We always look forward to coming in.

I wouldn't trust their delivery service. Waited all day for an appliance to be delivered only to be lied to and rescheduled days later. Better off spending your time and money elsewhere.

Bought a double wall oven at lowes for $1900. Paid $45 service fee for Lowes to get someone to come to my house to quote me for installation. Subcontractor was from company called CRST; he quoted me nearly 1100 for installation. That's not a typo. Subcontractor said I needed to relocate my junction box to a cabinet above the double wall oven to save me 4 inches of space. I told contractor it was way too expensive, but to email me a copy of the quote for my records. He never did. It turns out there is no junction box in the back of the oven; just a conduit containing the usual wires which took up no additional space. The conduit ran into a hole in the back of the cabinet space, and under the stairs into my basement. There was absolutely no junction box to be seen and if there was, it's likely to be located under the stairs/basement.I had a third party company install the oven for $400. Minor trimming was required on the cabinetry (which CRST quoted me for as well). Wires from the oven were connected to wires in the conduit with no problems. Oven fit like a glove and looks and works great. My contractor told me he doesn't know what CRST was talking about.I went to Lowes to complain about how I felt like CRST was taking me for a ride. I feel like Lowe's at the very minimum should refund me my 45 dollar service fee. The manager, Pat, told me to contact CRST directly. I asked him why the onus was on me to contact CRST. CRST is the subcontractor Lowe's hired, and is representing Lowe's. Lowe's should vouch for their customers. The manager made no such effort.I will not shop at lowes again. Mind you, I dropped about $5500 in total purchases at lowes for my brand new home: double oven, French door fridge, washer, dryer, and window treatment.

Just had a great experience. It’s about 10:00 AM and I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who asked what I was looking for. He walked with me to the area where I the employee who worked in the department took over and directed me exactly to what I needed and even loaded the cart with the heavy water softener bags. I unfortunately wasn’t paying attention at self checkout and picked the one station that didn’t have a hand scanner to scan the heavy bags, but the attendant was super friendly and canceled the transaction then directed me to the next station. It’s service like this that impresses me. Every customer and employee interaction was great.

*MILITARY LIVING ON BASE/POST BE AWARE!! DELIVERY DATES ONLY IN TUESDAYS AND SATURDAYS!!!Please note this is an update to another post I made and this one as well. ALL deliveries for base and post are done on two days only. Check your location for details but I found out the hard way it is only on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the LOWES EMPLOYEES ARENT AWARE!! You WILL NOT get a four hour window nor a 48 hours email notice if they change the delivery date. I do not know if installation/delivery people are actual Lowes employees or not. I’m assuming they aren’t.I’d give negative stars if I could. Husband and I ordered the Maytag commercial grade washer and dryer from the Colorado Springs location because that is where we live. Everything went great until it didn’t when we didn’t get a call the night before for a delivery window. Husband also gave an alternate number but no call. The day of delivery, he got a missed call. It was delivery. They verified he has a delivery today but to call the store to get detailed information. Basically, they messed up and wanted someone at the store to get the heat for it instead of breaking the news. Apparently they couldn’t find our appliances in the warehouse, so someone rescheduled our delivery date to a date we wouldn’t even be in the state. No calls, no voicemails….nothing. The CS store was very accommodating and understanding and could only offer the same date. Not good enough. Not even an offer to contact the warehouse or getting a manager-just meaningless apologies. For a 2k refund we didn’t even get proof that it’s going to be refunded to our account. Then we had to take the small items for the appliances to Customer Service desk. Yall need to do better whomever this is directed to. I tried to get a name but I couldn’t get one. It’s okay. The warehouse belongs to Lowe’s and the fulfilling store is the Lone Tree location so y’all are going to get the bad review. Fix yourself.
