This is my third Duramax that I have owned, and I have experienced problems with the DEF system on every one of these trucks. That said, I purchased the $3500 platinum coverage for peace of mind, with the understanding that I had bumper to bumper coverage with the exception of general maintenance things like brakes and oil changes. I am currently stuck almost 1000 miles away from home because the DEF injector pump failed. It's bad enough that I'm living in a hotel room for the past two days, but now I come to find out that UCC has denied coverage for the very reason I purchased their warranty in the first place! I am beyond disappointed! What a $3500 SCAM! I spoke with them and they said it wasn't covered because it's an emissions issue which I was not aware wasn't covered. More importantly, the mechanics involved tells me that it is NOT an emissions issue, it's an injector pump which is pre-emissions. Bottom line is, if you don't want the run-around or a false peace of mind, don't purchase this scam! It's no wonder they have such a poor online review!

- United Car Care extended warranty covered replacement of my timing chain cover; mileage 105,000. Damage was discovered during oil change/vehicle inspection. My vehicle is checked on the suggested maintenance schedule. Ford Edge is a great vehicle.- The parts were delayed in shipment. Warranty did not cover 7 day rental car.

Buyer beware! I can’t believe this. I bought a Ram 1500 six months ago and started smelling exhaust fumes inside the cabin of the truck. Take it to a mechanic, and they say the exhaust manifold has warped, causing exhaust fumes to leak into the cabin. Not good. Thank God I got a service contract, right? Wrong! United car care has some stupid policy saying that because the bolts that attach the manifold broke they are not covering it. They say they do cover exhaust manifolds when they break, but if the bolts break, then they don’t. What they can’t seem to understand, is that the bolts only broke because the manifold was warping, because of a manufacturer defect, because of the type of material used by Ram in the production of the manifold. It’s this kind of nickel and dime stuff that you can expect out of united car care. I wish I would’ve bought my car somewhere else where they offer to service contract like CNA, who doesn’t pull stuff like this. Thanks for nothing united car care. PS… do you know if you have a United car care contract right now? If you do, are you aware that it is cancelable under Colorado insurance law? You can get a prorated refund of what is unused…and you should. They won’t cover anything if you make a claim anyways.

United Car Care has been great. I've had multiple repairs done on my 2016 Tahoe, but the biggest was a transmission replacement. All I had to pay was the $100 deductible. The repairs were over $4k. It has paid for itself over the 3 x I have had United Car Care. I would use them for all my vehicles. I highly recommend United Car Care.

Kendall Subaru Zackary helped me feel relieved, he got the insurance to cover the cost and they fixed my car. I also got a nice loaner while waiting. I thank Zackary and the manager for their help.

Had both head gaskets go out on my Impreza and United Car Care covered it no problem. Was able to drop my car off and pick it up after repairs were done. Only out of pocket cost was an oil filter and a deductible.

DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY HERE. I've had my vehicle for less than two years, and there was some suspected corrosion which requires a replacement of a wire harness. At the time I purchased the warranty, I was told if anything went wrong it would be covered. This was apparently the exception, and the warranty company won't even cover a single penny of it. Total waste of money.

Do not wast your time and or you money dealing with this warranty company. Hands down the worst in the business. Happy to take your money, never going to cover what they are supper to. How about. 180,000 miles used parts. In a rig with 40,000 miles. What a joke just cancel your contract and get you money back before it’s 2 late

So, my truck broke down on me and it turned out to be the transmission. Call united car care and they had it towed to the closest dealer but it was supposed to go to the contracted dealer. United care care had the vehicle towed to the correct dealer, approved the work and everything was smooth. The bill came to $7,010 and again, I paid the $100 deductible. This place is great and I will continue to use them. Also, Ted at United Car Care was awesome. Thank you.
