Dr Kerr and the whole Vca team are amazing. My dog has been their patient source the day we adopted her, and going anywhere else is always a let down. Our vet has knowledge about both sighthounds and raw diets, which can sometimes be tricky, but she's always on top of things. (even when our dog decides to get hurt or of state, she and the team are on top of her follow up!) Thanks for being the best!!

Had a great experience with all of the staff at VCA Orchard. We were able to quickly get an appointment for our new puppy. The staff was super friendly and clearly really loved dogs, gave us treats and toys to leave with and great advice as new dog owners.

Dr. Kerr is the best vet around -- she takes care of our dogs as if they are her own. Our dogs have had some weird things over the years, and Dr. Kerr always figures out what it is and helps make a plan. We're there monthly to get prescriptions and for checkups, and Kim and the rest of the team are great!

I loved having VCA Orchard for my dog's care! I'm sad I moved out of the area and no longer use them. If I'm ever back in the area, I will take her there again.

I took my Dalmatian to 3 prior vets with concerns with limping and low energy and was told that nothing was wrong. This was the only vet that did a through exam and come to find out she has hypothyroidism! The staff here is super friendly, informative, and caring. My only regret was not coming here sooner! Dr.Kerr is amazing and super knowledgeable!

I took my dog Udo to this vet clinic for about 4 years after I first moved to Denver. He was 8 years old when I started taking him to VCA Orchard and I would continue taking him their for care until he passed at 12 years old. I mostly booked appointments with Dr. Kerr, at least during his last couple of years, and am so grateful for how caring and professional she was whenever Udo and I visited the clinic. Every visit, whether it was a regular check-up, or the diagnostic appointments towards the end of his life, we were greeted with kindness, and his conditions and care options were thorough and clearly explained to me. When Udo passed, they sent my wife and me a hand-written letter with thoughtful notes from everyone in the clinic who knew Udo. It was very kind and helped my wife and I get through that very difficult time, knowing that Dr. Kerr and the rest of the clinic understood how special he was to us and that his life made an impact on them too. To Anyone who is looking for a vet in South Denver, you should take your pet to VCA Orchard, your pet will be in caring, competent hands.A special thank you to Dr. Kerr, Dr. Flanagan, and the rest of the staff. You all made my life as a dog Dad easier because I knew Udo was getting the best care possible.

I like that this animal hospital offers monthly plans for your new furry family member. The staff is friendly and patient. Dr. Ryan is the "best" really shows kindness when caring for our pups and Kayla the assistant is always loving on our puppies too. The staff show so much compassion. This is the place to go worth the drive.

New to the area and had a small emergency with my dog, the office was able to get her in within a day when I called. The staff is absolutely the best! Very caring and compassionate, they took the time to clear up the messed up records from my other animal hospital as well. Well informed and took the time to go over the concerns I had about one of my dogs. Will be taking all my pets here for sure!

I am absolutely disappointed with this location and the Highlands Ranch location. Highlands Ranch VCA was our "home" vet however, since the adoption of a new puppy two years ago (yes she's a covid critter) we have not been given the best of service. I do not have confidence in the expertise by one specific vet that I will not go into here. My dog is dealing with an ear infection...HR could not accommodate an appointment soon enough. Yes life got in the way and forced us to reschedule. So, I set up an appointment with the Orchard location thinking I'd get my dog is this week. I get two texts the day before her appointment asking to push the appt back by 15min, then I get another text pushing the appt up by 30 min. While en route hit major accident traffic that prohibited me from getting on the highway. I texted the location to advise I'd be late (closer to my original appoint time). Just as I was pulling into the parking lot VCA calls and said they wouldn't be able to accommodate the appointment today and would need to reschedule. So here I'm am now 3 weeks into an ear infections, 3 appointments later with no ability to get us in. I'm done with VCA!

We've been bringing our dog here for almost 4 years now. Never had a bad experience. The staff and doctors are very helpful and extremely friendly. I have a high anxiety dog and even during the pandemic when we couldn't go in with him everything went great.

The front desk lady is amazing. I was requesting records for a patient for our hospital and she was so sweet. She even called back letting me know the little notes and history of our new patient. Very helpful staff.

Vet tech was very nice. The vet was nice. My cat was not a fan of needles and the vet tech was amazing and helped her get her shots.

I have been going to VCA for over 6 years now ( I’ve gone two different VCAs since I have moved from Denver to Centennial) and have always had good experiences until recently. I have a very anxious dog who experienced trauma when she was young and I adopted her later in her life. I explained all this to them prior to the appointment and we gave my dog a sedative to try to ease the process. I brought my dog in for a potential ear infection and it’s turned out she had a double. I paid to have the dogs ears treated professionally which was very expensive. At my first appointment they told me that they would administer the treatment and at the second treatment they would do the same and also take a look at the ears to make sure they are clearing up. At the second appointment, though they did give her a second treatment, they said they did not really get to look inside her ears because she was too nervous, even though she was given a a sedative that round as well. This is upsetting for me as a owner because I am not a professional and do not know how to tell what my dogs ears need. When I asked what to look for to make sure they were healing the nurse told me to “google it” and didn’t give me the time of day to answer questions. $300 dollars for me google it! Super unprofessional and quite frankly I don’t think they gave my dog the care and attention she needed for the money I spent. It’s been exactly two months and I’m taking her in again for another ear infection though I will be going else where to make sure she is getting proper care. The impression I got at Orchard is that if your dog has any issues and isn’t a easy treat, then you are on your own. Please be careful with your rescues here, they deserve love too.
