Wild Spirit Mountain Lodge is a charming, rustic venue located in the historic and quaint little town of Guffey, Colorado. It is a great place for special events, community gatherings, lodging, romantic getaways, and fun nights. The lodge is furnished in a classic western theme and provides a fun atmosphere that is awesome, lively, yet peaceful and comforting. The rooms are super clean and well decorated. The bar and grill serve delicious, reasonably priced, and very vegetarian-friendly food, with breakfast described as a family affair. The hosts and their team are awesome, welcoming, and care about their guests. They regularly have great live music. The location offers great views, peace and quiet, and nature just outside. It is an excellent alternative to a boring hotel, providing a very special experience.
Came in for one night to pick up a horse in the area. Cool mountain air at 8700’ and a lively bar/outside dining area with a band. Super friendly people, great service, food was awesome. If you are looking for quaint, rustic, small mountain town feel/fun I highly recommend.
