“Walmart is a retail department store that specializes in offering low price merchandise that covers 99% of 99% of people's needs. This little store is notable because it is the second smallest walmart in the country, and us simple mountain folk here in Gunnison like it that way. The employees are friendly and helpful, especially the Chilean woman who works in customer service, Cristina.”
“They are doing their best with the volume of the tourists but, if the self checkout conveyer belt worked as designed aye! I wouldn't have got hit with the huge haboob. That was wild it literally blew over all the trees for sale in the front and almost killed a college kid I saw walking past the trees. I hope everyone was ok 🤙”

“This pharmacy was fantastically helpful when I was unable to get my prescriptions and flu vaccine from the walmart pharmacy in town; I have switched all my prescriptions over to here and will be using this pharmacy for future vaccinations as well. The staff were very helpful with giving information about the availability of and administering flu and covid vaccines this year, patiently figured out and honored the coupon I was sent in the mail that gave a discount on groceries for transferring my scripts here, and have handled my scripts professionally. I was uncertain of what was the best pharmacy option when I moved to Gunnison this year; if your insurance is accepted at both locations I highly recommend choosing this city market as your pharmacy over walmart. I believe scripts purchased here also accrue gas points on your city market card, although I am not sure.”
