I’m writing to encourage you to consider carrying 91 octane non-ethanol fuel at your Gypsum Shell location — a move that would not only meet a growing local and regional demand, but also position your station as the go-to fuel stop for motorsports and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the area.
Gypsum and its surrounding communities are home to a large and active base of motorcycle, dirt bike, side-by-side, snowmobile, and off-road vehicle owners. In fact, off-road riding is a way of life here. With hundreds of miles of trails, a wide range of terrain, and the only motocross track between Grand Junction and Denver, the area attracts countless locals and visitors who rely on premium, non-ethanol fuel to keep their machines running at peak performance.
Further adding to the opportunity is the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR), which passes directly through Gypsum. This brings a steady stream of adventure riders, many of whom are actively looking for stations that offer high-quality, ethanol-free fuel that won’t harm their bikes’ fuel systems or compromise performance in rugged terrain.
Not only would this addition serve the local off-road community, but it would also make your station a key stop for I-70 travelers heading west toward Moab, the Rockies, or other popular destinations. Many of these travelers haul recreational vehicles and equipment that demand non-ethanol options — something that’s not always easy to find along the interstate.
Carrying 91 non-ethanol fuel would make your location a trusted, word-of-mouth favorite for both residents and travelers — and a reliable part of their pre-ride or road-trip routine.
We hope you’ll consider investing in a product that directly supports the lifestyle and economic activity that Gypsum thrives on. Riders will thank you — and they’ll keep coming back.

It has about five parking spots for trucks if you park carefully.
I noticed a lot of trash and I wouldn't be surprised if trucks and trailers are getting vandalized or stolen from here.
The store is 100% Hispanic. With Hispanic employees and Hispanic music.
They have Restrooms that are almost clean.
They have good jerky here, usually not seen in Colorado.
If you park here, make sure you lock your trailer because the thieves will break your seal off.

Parked here due to the snow storm and highway closures. It says this store is 24hrs, that's why I decided to park here. THIS STORE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT 24HRS. We went hungry and thirsty all night because they were closed. Granted we knew we wouldn't be getting the best food. However a hot dog sandwich or burrito would have been great! We might as well have just parked in the side of the highway! Smh UPDATE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION ON GOOGLE! I DEFINITELY WOULDN'T HAVE STOPPED HERE IF I KNEW THEY WERE NOT 24HRS!

When traveling between Denver and points west, we always stop here. It's:
1. Not Vail
2. Not Vail
3. Not Vail
4. Friendly
5. Handy
6. Well stocked

My wife and I stopped at the gas station to get gas and some ice. My wife went in to get some ice and the lady yelled at her across the store to keep her dog away from the food. She is a registered service dog and is a 6 pound miniature schnauzer. She was on a leash and color, both red saying service dog all over. I told her she was a service and she was allowed to be in the store with me and she just kept yelling. Keep her away from the food. I went to the register the other lady was very kind and. paid for ice, Which was $1.40. Anyway, I asked for the manager she said I’m the boss. So I said to There is a more legal discrete way to approach someone with a service dog besides yelling across the room. I asked for her she wouldn’t give it to me, but the other lady her name is Anna middle age possibly a little older straight hair in the middle. Dark hair. I was leaving the store and told her I was going to call and talk to her manager and she just kept saying I’m the boss I’m the boss. I would love management to get in contact with me and possibly provide her more training on how to deal with people who has service dogs and disabilities. She Also said to us well, have you heard of the new law that you have to have her paperwork so my wife told her we hadn’t and went out to get it and she yells at her just leave. I would’ve given it zero stars if it was an option.

This was the worst gas station. I have ever stopped at the bathroom. Was absolutely disgusting. Urine all over the floor and the soap dispensers did not work as I got ready to leave. Their delivery truck pull up and the guy comes out. Telling me I need to move my car. I just came in to use the bathroom. I do not recommend going to this gas station.

Pumps are constantly not functioning properly. Having to go inside to pre pay is a pain.

This place sucks. No ice, air and vac was out of order. Bathroom stall was put of order. Think the manager works once a week. What a fool. Only thing good about this place is its a pit stop and the little lady behind the counter with the blonde hair was a peach. Very kind. Other than that, keep it moving.

Cool spot to stop and get refreshments. Inside looks more like a liquor store. They have a beer cave with several varieties of beer. Outside is an electric charger for cars. Great views all around.

Okay stop. The gas pumps don't accept credit cards, so you have to go inside and pay.

Good selection and a milkshake machine! Star taken off because sometimes the internet is out and you can't pay, and sometimes they run out of gas. That second one just shows you how popular this gas station is, though.
