Badger Basin Country Store is a convenient roadside stop for gas, snacks, and drinks along the highway. The restrooms are clean, and there are also very clean port-o-potties outside. The staff is friendly, nice, and efficient. Both cash and credit cards are accepted. The business has addressed some past customer concerns. There were previously issues with customers blocking gas pumps and a very slow pump due to a kinked hose, but signs have now been placed to instruct people to move their vehicles. The prices for gas, store items, and especially liquor are high, but it is a convenient mountain location. The pumps can run slow, potentially from the cold temperatures, but they offer ethanol-free premium gas. While parking can be limited when busy, it remains an easy and convenient halfway stop for many travelers.
Convenient place to stop and go for gas, unfortunately with limited parking when busy I don't stop even if I end up paying more for fuel in Fairplay, 😔

The prices of gas/ inside store items and especially liquor are high but your in the mountains where else you going to go??. The employees are very nice.
