HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Besides being basically rude and the clinic being disgustingly filthy, they don't know how to treat animals. First off, when a client asks you to check the dog for conjunctivitis, glancing at the dog's face and going no he's fine really isn't a true conjunctivitis exam. Furthermore, when you are informed that a dog is a rescue dog, and he is obviously very high energy and very young as well as being a giant breed mix, it is the duty of the veterinarian to stay calm and make sure the dog realizes that they are no threat to the animal. Instead, greeting the dog (and owner) showing absolutely no personality or caring/empathetic/nurturing aura or personality, and when the dog gets nervous and reacts negatively to you, your first instinct is to grab a muzzle rather than trying to stay calm and bond with the animal, that doesn't tell me that you have my animals best interests at heart. Having worked as a veterinary technician in the past, I would never have treated an animal that way - I have NEVER had to muzzle an animal. The veterinarian's actions did nothing but validate the dog's fear. When the feral cats in town come in my yard and play and cuddle with my dog, but his reaction to you is an instinctual biting reaction? I don't think the dog is the problem. Very disappointing, new to the area, the search for a new veterinarian continues.

I've heard a lot about this place and the man who runs it. My dog was hurt and I had just gotten out of hospital of 5 days myself. I should of called first, my bad. But this man was awesome. He wasn't angry and he took care of my furbaby. I think I'll keep him as a Vet., if he'll have us.

Adam has been our vet for 13 or so years and I’m so sad we are moving and leaving his practice!!! In the last few weeks in Colorado he has been a saving grace!!! He found a heart defect in our 12 week old pup 8 years ago! Today he preformed surgery on the same dog who CSU said wouldn’t likely survive!!! He and his team are amazing!!! I wish we could just drive here if we had issues but 16 hours isn’t feasible! We will definitely miss this staff!!

Dr Tempel is am amazing vet. He brought my goat back from founder, has cared for my dogs, cats, and rabbits for years.

I hung up in tears, two of my Chihuahuas need teeth pulled but because I haven't been there before, basically was told to go elsewhere, nobody wants to see their fur babies in pain, let alone be treated like that. To me that was just sad.

Got us in for an appointment on a Saturday on short notice. Was very personable, very professional. Bonded with our pooch straight away and didn't order unnecessary tests or more importantly, didn't overcharge us. Definitely liked him right off the bat; Tempel is gonna be our go to Vet for all our animal needs for now on

I called the office on 9-15-23 and they scheduled an appointment for my dog on Monday the 18th. I do appreciate how quickly they offered to see him. When I called I was expecting to wait for a couple weeks, but they helped me out and i thank them.
