“I am a sucker for storefronts that look the way they used to in the earlier 50s and back. It was an extra bonus point to be a Rocket Fizz, that sort of encapsulates that theme inside, too.
The store was pretty backed and kept sort-of chilly. Which, honestly, probably helps with the soda's longevity on open shelves. However, this place had my favorite birch beer, so I felt like a little green winner here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps are scattered along the walkways every 20-30 feet.”
“What a great little shop! It reminds you of an old time general store in the sense that they have all the old time candy and licorice and things you haven't seen in forever. They also have a great collection of nuts and snacks - and my husband has been a big fan for a long time. The jalapeño pretzel bites are particularly amazing as are all of the snack mixes we have tried so far. Yes, it's more expensive than a big box store - but it's a family business with high quality so it's worth the extra in our opinion.”
“On 12/19/24 I called to see if they had still had a cardboard standup and talked to a clerk that goes by "O". he said they didnt but would check with manager to see if they could get one. Took my info and called back within the hour and said store manager would bring one down from another store. On 12/20/24 "O" called and said they have it in store. Patrick drove from Parker to Thornton to make sure i got my standup. I feel that both O and Patrick went ABOVE AND BEYOND so i could get a Christmas gift. Hopefully the right people will read this and give them the recognition they deserve. Thank you very much O and Patrick!”
“I will never forget how many times I got in trouble at school for buying candy from my favorite place, I stopped here every morning before crossing the street for school. Brings back such great memories I wish I could get my favorite ? and strawberry ? gummies along with my favorite chocolates for cheap just like back in the day. Love this store !”
