So I buy a place and was told the propane tank was included in the deal . I then received a bill from Ferrell that I owed them for tank rental ???? So I figured not a big deal I gotta have someone deliver it .all down hill from there . For one the amount they charged me for was always more then the amount actually delivered and not to mention at a price close to double of the compition . Well then I ran low and called to see how quick they could come well they charged me Xtra because I was like below 15 gal they charged me Xtra again to come sooner well then they come and I had ran out so I put on the tank for my grill so what do they do ? You guessed it try to charge me 100$ Xtra and Red tagged my tank but yet filled it to 75 and charged me for 90 as they normally do. Well I've called x 3 and ask to speak to someone in charge and everytime they take my number and I never get a call back . To ferrell come get your tank out of the way so I can find someone that Has clue of what customer service is and don't try to rob you every way possible. Update as of Aug 29 2024 tank still sit there.

Very frustrating. They are never open when they say they're supposed to be open. They're closed Thursdays and Fridays. The person that works in the office is never in the office even though she says she is. She leaves signs up that say she's going to be back at a certain time and then never shows up. Extremely frustrating

We have had a great experience with this company so far, we were initially reluctant to try this company because of the reviews but we are so glad that we did.
Steve, our initial contact for our setup, did a great job of communicating with us on the day of our tank setup making sure he understood what our needs were and setting up a convenient time for us. Abe, our tank technician, was prompt and very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions and to make sure everything was up to code. He even updated our regulator which I guess was an older model, we didn't even realize it, our old company never bothered to keep our equipment up to date obviously, and he made sure to explain how everything worked and which options were available to us without trying to oversell anything we didn't need or want. Mary in customer service was also very attentive to us, making sure we were receiving the correct charges for everything.
Overall they did an excellent job of communicating, relaying information and setting us up with our new tank quickly and seamlessly. They really gave us peace of mind in choosing them to take care of our every need and concern and we want to thank them for their exceptional knowledge and professionalism!
It was a nightmare with our other company!
Highly recommend this company!

Model of InefficiencyTo fill up my 20 pound tank is an ordeal. First, I have to park outside the gate and go into the office and let the grouchy lady know that I want to fill a portable tank. Then they have me drive out back to a building behind the office. The guy there will take my tank, and give me a ticket to walk back to the unhappy woman in the office. Only then can I pay for the propane. But not using my Apple Card, because it doesn’t have the card number on it. She has to type the information into a computer for payment.Eventually, I get to walk back to the filling building and give the ticket to the guy, who will then fill the tank.I’ve tried driving back without going to the office first. I’ve tried to pay at the office when I initially go in. And I’ve been scolded for coming onto the property before the official opening time, even though the gates were open… craziness.I now go to Tractor Supply in Brighton to refill my tank. It’s a bit further, but the refill process is easy, the employees are pleasant, and there’s cool stuff in the store to peruse.Oh, and they charge less for the propane.

I looked them up on their website for business hours and it said they are open until 5pm. So i race down there in my wide 40 ft long motorhome and was happy to get there at 4:15 pm.I figured since I was there 45 minutes before closing time there would be no problem. An employee was there closing the gate and said i was too late they are closed. Ive gone there once before and they were closed with a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day. I dont like to drive a super huge gas guzzling vehicle around for nothing. Too much trouble to take the chance of them not being open. Why say open until 5 pm and lock the place up at 4:15 or not even open at all? So if you go there make sure you look up their number and call to see if anyone will be there to help you. The hours they post don't mean shit.

This rating should be a zero. You CANNOT trust or count on this company.I called three weeks ago for a refill the soonest was December 20th we agreed to this date. We ran out of propane on Monday the 19th and used space heaters for 24 hours Knowing that they promised to be there within 24 hours. The 21st, I called to find out that they never came to my address to fill our tank. Now they tell me to wait till Friday. ( This is a week late) Terrible way to do business. I spoke to a manager and she said she was sorry, but there doing the best they can. Thank the lord for competition.

Would give this 0 stars if possible. Had a delivery scheduled for 3 weeks and it never showed up. We were proactive and called when our tank was around 30-35% but nothing happened. We ran OUT of propane around 4 am last night so our house is cold as can be. We live in the mountains!!!! This is unacceptable especially since we called over 5 times this week to make sure it would happen!!! Now that it's a weekend they said there is nothing they can do until monday!!! What are emergency numbers or contacts for if nothing happens anyways!?

outrageous prices, almost twice what the competitors charge. The representative told us that they would be able to do a site survey without us there, as long as the propane location was marked. We had a bright orange sign, with 4 inch letters saying "PROPANE", but when the guy showed up, he didn't even look up. He walked to my door, knocked once, and left within 10 seconds.I received a call about a week later saying that no one was there when the technician showed up. I explained that there was supposed to be a note about looking for the "PROPANE" sign. They rudely told me they would "send someone back out there"It has been two weeks since then, with no call or technician visit. Impossible to do business with.

OK, they fill the tanks to 80%, whereas gas stations are 60%. They charge more for a fuller tank, but the price is about the same per pound. The bad news, I just pulled in and some hillbilly started yelling at me about some BS that made very little sense. Not enjoying condescension from assholes, I will never pay shitheads like this for anything, ever. F*** you and your shitty, overpriced gas.

"$10+ a gallon?"Today I brought two bar-b-que sized containers to be topped off. I’d say one was half full the other was ¾ full. I wanted to be sure they were both full for Thanksgiving. I was given a slip of paper and told to go up front to pay. $45.00. I was shocked and asked the woman behind the counter how much is propane per gallon. She informed me that they charge by the cylinder, not what they put in it. This policy is not posted anywhere… in fairness, neither is a price per gallon. Seeing as that I couldn't ask for them to take it back, I paid the $45 and brought my receipt to the dock and asked the gentleman who filled the tanks how many gallons he put in. He said they don’t measure and informed me that the correct unit of measurement is pounds not gallons. (BTW… my receipt says 9.4 GAL). I figure I might have needed 4 gallons to top off both tanks… $10 a gallon???? I’ll find somewhere else to go.

I'm not a returning customer and I brought in a forklift tank to be recertified. The tank failed, but they essentially just gave me a used tank they had without making me buy a brand new one or setting up an account. Seemed like a pretty nice thing to do.
