About Target Tree Campground
Target Tree Campground is a small, quiet, and well-maintained camping spot. It offers clean, spaced-out sites with pads for tents or campers, each featuring a large table with a BBQ extension, a fire pit with a grill, and a water jug for safely extinguishing fires. The campground is immaculately kept by a friendly host who checks the bathrooms multiple times a day and ensures the grounds are tidy. There are no hookups, but plenty of faucets provide drinking water, and firewood is available for purchase. Although some highway noise can be heard, it is not visible from the sites. The campground features a hiking trail right out of the site, making it ideal for a short stay or a base for visiting Durango or Mesa Verde. Payment is cash or check unless booked online. Overall, it is a clean, peaceful, and well-loved spot perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat.

What a lovely quiet spot to camp. The site was clean and raked smooth by the wonderful campground host. We stayed in mid September and the weather was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground. Would recommend for a short stay or a place to camp and commute Durango or Mesa Verde. Toilets were clean pit type. Water on site but fauct doesn't have a hose connection.
