My family is 4 generations here on our ranch and we appreciate our local mail carriers. Thankfully the Marvel Post office is still open if only 1 hour a day.

The Hesperus postal lady is very nice and always helpful. We've receive all our mail. When I mail anything at the post office, it arrives on time.

Rude, bitter, angry woman whose only goal in life seems to be to talk to other adults as though they are seven-year-olds. Like another reviewer, I have lived here for many years, and the feeling of dread and existential angst I feel whenever I get that skin-tone colored slip from the post office indicating I have to go pick up a package....well, it's indescribable. I arrive with my documents all in order, my drivers license at the ready, hoping that this will be the magical first time that I am allowed to pass the gate of the Billygoat Gruff without condemnation. It never happens. Why this haggard old shrew is allowed to harangue innocents is beyond me. Her talents would be better served as a prison guard. Get rid of her.

I’ve lived here for many years. This is the worst Post Office I’ve ever experienced. Very rude clerk up to the point of yelling at you. Delivery is horrible and they often just refuse to deliver.

Terrible service. No mail received the last 2 business days. Sometimes we go 3 days without mail. We use informed delivery email so we know what we are supposed to receive each day. We live on a main state highway and always clear the snow from in front of our mailbox. Worst service ever.

After being rudely told by a female worker at the Durango Post Office that they didn't take walk-in passport applications (even though the website clearly said that they did), we drove out to Hesperus where the lady there was kind, generous and helpful. We left with a smile.

Worst service ever. I've waited 10 minutes at the counter while the post office employee sorted outgoing mail. Seriously? The female employee is very rude and if there is a problem, she announces "I wasn't there that day" even though she was the one that helped me. I don't even want to give it a one.

Horrible service, won't bring anything to the house, laziest mail delivery driver I've ever had. No way I can get to their office when it's open due to the hours they are open.

This is a wonderful, small, local post office. The staff is attentive and helpful. I love having a post office where I live. The main post office in Durango is extremely busy all the time. There is no wait at the Hesperus post office. I am very happy with this post office.

Can I just reiterate my last review? Because their office hours are horrible at delivery area radius is passed your mailbox or horrible I can throw a rock to my mailbox but they will refuse to deliver anything to my house if it doesn't fit. The lady at the desk when I went to pick up my mail had the personality of a rock if there is any possible way to use the Durango post office I will find it period Fed Up
