The guy with the Mullet, Shawn Cox, was very helpful. I pulled over when my Porsche Cheyenne was running very roughly. I was running cheap 85 octane gasoline in it, and he was quick to explain the importance of running quality 91+ octane in that type of vehicle. It has been running very smoothly since. He also took a look at my engine and wrote out a list of things that I could do to service it, although he assured me that it is in good running condition. I also noticed that he was very helpful with the other customers that walked in. He generally just wanted to help. He's a good guy. I give him five stars.

My husband and I (tourists from Canada) were met with unhelpful answers to simple questions that the store owner would probably know - where can we find the local Visitor Centre and are there off road routes to explore in an off-road vehicle. Answers were curt. Because of the unfriendly treatment we received we chose not to make purchases in the store, nor buy gas there ever again during our stay.

Is NOT open 24 hours like advertised on google. Luckily, it’s a quick on/off but we were really looking forward to grabbing a snack and using a restroom!

Nice gas station. 3 individual bathrooms, some touristy picture spots, large general store, and decent staff. Not sure where all the hatred for this place comes from. We had no issues.

Terrible gas station! Don’t even bother, the service is terrible and the store owner is aggressive. Would not recommend.
