About Cal-Wood Education Center
Cal-Wood Education Center is a special place for group retreats and environmental education. It is a favorite spot for organizations to bring students to camp and for staff trainings, with many groups returning year after year. The facility offers beautiful campsites, cozy cabins, convenient privies, and warming huts. Groups enjoy gorgeous views of the nearby mountains and lots of space to roam. There are many great indoor and outdoor spaces, including a recreation area for field games and spaces for team-building and rehearsals. The Cal-Wood team is incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to work with, providing efficient and well-organized planning. They care deeply for the land, the facility, and the people they welcome. The food is scrumptious and the facilities are in great shape. Cal-Wood has an extremely important mission to teach children and their parents to live together and respect the environment. It is a great business and a home where groups can come to be together.

Rave reviews from my wife and daughter who were there with a group. You can tell that the staff has been exceptionally trained. The food was amazing, catered to all food sensitivities and dietary restrictions. The activities were well planned, the attention to detail, the hospitality, all is fantastic.

I went in 2015ish apart of my 5th grade class and enjoyed my stay. It's an all round pretty good camp for kids I would personally recommend it.
