Worst moving experience I have ever had. They kept taking me off my dad's account, even though I was managing his move and he had asked for me to be on the account multiple times. After they migrated systems, my portal no longer worked and resetting the password never sent an email to me. The customer service manager I spoke with basically said too bad. They still have my father's belongings months later.

My experience with POD was awful and I would never recommend someone to do business with them going forward. I relocated from Florida to Colorado and utilized POD services for a 16ft container. I booked my POD contract on 7/28/25 with the intent of the POD being dropped off 8/19/25. When I signed my contract on 7/28, they said it would take them 10 days to get the POD to Colorado so to give extra time for unforeseen circumstances I scheduled drop off in Colorado for 9/6/25 giving them 16 days to get my POD to my home. On the evening of 9/5/25, I logged in and saw my POD was being delivered 9/6/25 between 7:15AM-10:15AM. I called into POD on 9/5/25 to confirm the scheduled delivery so we could check out of our AirBNB. We woke up the morning of 9/6 at 5AM, checked out of our AirBNB and headed over to our new home here in Colorado. At 7:10AM I got a new email that said the delivery had been rescheduled for 9/10/25!!! We had paid movers waiting at the house for the POD, we had NOTHING at our house for our kids to sleep on, eat on, sit on, NOTHING! I have special need children, one who requires oxygen support. All his additional medical equipment was in the POD and with no notification that the POD was delayed I was short the medical equipment he needed. I called POD and they advised me that the reason the POD was delayed because the truck carrying the POD broke down in Missouri. SO WHY DID THE POD TEAM GIVE ME A DELIVERY WINDOW WHEN THE POD WASN’T EVEN IN THE STATE THAT IT WAS BEING DELIVERED TO? With no notice, I had no option of extending my AirBNB or staying anywhere else.Despite the employee guaranteeing me that the POD would be delivered on 9/6, not their problem. When I spoke to a supervisor they were going to hold my POD in Missouri until their truck was fixed instead of sending out another truck to pick up my POD and bring it to Colorado at the scheduled time. I had to request they send out another truck to pick up my POD!!!!! My family was forced to go out and pay extra money for beds, dishes, tv, etc. as well as I had to go to various doctors offices and hospitals trying to get the equipment my son needed since POD screwed my family so bad. I spoke to several supervisors all of whom said there was nothing they could do, it was entirely my problem that I had to deal with. The dispute team reached back out saying sorry for your experience, let me refund $134 to you. The dispute team does not have direct numbers to contact and discuss your experience. I don’t care about the money, the money isn’t the issue here. You stranded my family with nothing and luckily we are blessed to have the extra money to get our kids what they needed, but many don’t and this is not ok. You don’t give a delivery window when the POD isn’t even in the correct state, you don’t set up a family to fail with having nothing with zero notification. I called on 9/8/25 to ensure my POD was moving, and the employee again guaranteed me the POD would arrive on 9/10/25. To make it even worse, I then on Tuesday 9/9 got a notification that my POD was moved to delivery to 9/13/25! I called in and guess what, the second truck carrying my POD broke down. One truck breaking down is an unforeseen circumstance, 2 is negligence. Clearly POD isn’t maintaining or servicing their trucks as they should or their trucks wouldn’t continue to break down. I again had to request another truck go pick up my POD. The dispute department treats you like you’re a number and not a customer. Just someone they can say sorry to, here is $134 and click send. You aren’t just moving people’s couches or kitchen tables, these are people’s lives.
