Cool place! Although I Was a bit disappointed in the Famous cinnamon rolls, they were dry like they've been sitting there for a long time and When I got to my destination just up the road from there, I warmed em up and they got even dryer.

I have gotten used to typical diner food which usually is rushed and not very good. I hadn’t been here since I was a kid so didn’t remember it being exceptional other than the cinnamon rolls. Going back, I was super impressed by the quality of the food!! The hash browns were actually crisp, the toast was buttery, the Old Style German Sausage was soooo so good. The biscuits and gravy had very flavorful and tasty gravy. The cinnamon roll French toast looked fantastic (I didn’t try it though). I got carrot cake to go for later and it was delicious as well.

The Cinnamon Rolls were the best we ever had. Must try!You can pay for them in the convenience store. We even ate them 2 days after we purchased them. We had the regular and raspberry cream cheese. Of course the cinnamon rolls are big and fit snuggly in the container, the frosting stuck the lid…no problem, just used a spoon and scooped back on the cinnamon roll before heating.Decided to only buy Cinnamon Rolls that were packed on the shelf.I wasn’t sure where we pay for the cinnamon rolls….i asked an employee, I said “hello” she said “ pretend like you can’t see me because I am not here.”I responded with, can you please tell where I should purchase these cinnamon rolls. She said “at the convenience store register”

This place was great.. before the update.. I know it needed it but they lost the homely charm of the old truck stop.. now it’s like all the other places where the store is jammed packed with cheap china made junk!!I seldom stop there unless someone wants a roll or pie.

Went specifically for the cinnamon rolls. So disappointed! First of all I was expecting FRESH. Over 200 sitting around in pre-packaged containers. No idea how old they were. Bought 4 anyway. Opened the container to find that ALL of the frosting was stuck to the container with none on the roll itself. Warmed as instructed and tried a bite. Meh. Won't do that again.

Somewhat sad. Stopped for gas and cinnamon role. Though I love the story of the restaurant, and immensely appreciate the service member remembrance table, the cinnamon role really isn't that good. Cream cheese icing would be a game changer. Buccee's being built a stones throw away will be tough. I hope you continue to do well.
