I am new to the area and obtained vision insurance. I called the clinic and asked the automated system to speak to a customer service representative. I explained I am new in the area and do not have my card and cannot recall the name of the insurance, however I have had offices look it up for me in the past based upon social security number. The personnel was simply dismissive and did not even care to attempt to help. What a complete disconnect to customer service. I have an appointment now that I have obtained the information and we will see how this goes. So far though, I am far from impressed at the relaxed customer service.

My first visit to this location was fine. The store is organized and clean, with a lot of frames to choose from. The employees there (with the exception of the doctor I met) seemed bored and ready to go home. I waited for the doctor to see me for at least 20 minutes after my initial testing, without any sort of explanation or anything from anyone. After the doc saw me, I was not instructed on choosing frames or given a little tray to hold them in. As well, I had to initiate the purchase once I was done choosing frames (literally no one asked if I needed help!). Once everything was ready for pickup, I was barely greeted when I came in and once helped, they again did not seem very eager to help me out. Other than these things, my experience went fine and my glasses turned out great for what I needed.

I made an appointment for an eye exam online and all the staff here were super friendly! They reeeallyy want you to buy your glasses at the store tho. Multiple people approached me asking about picking out some frames (it’s a glasses store I know lol) but I said numerous times that I want a specific pair of glasses that I can only find online. I asked one girl if my PD would be on the prescription they printed for me and she said yes; it wasn’t on there. Frustrating, but everyone really was super nice.

I drove quite a distance to check out their frames and also drove around for several minutes trying to find a parking spot. When I got there, there was a hand-written sign on the door saying "Back in 15 minutes ". Do you realize what an idiotic sign that is?! Did you put that up one minute ago or 14 minutes ago? Either way, I waited quite a while and finally gave up when they never did open while I waited patiently . Get it together Visionworks! That is exactly how you lose customers!! Won't be back!

Everyone here was super friendly. Got in for my eye exam right on time. The doctor was super kind and helped me out in a pinch. I will definitely be returning.

The doctor that I saw here was excellent and helped me get properly fitted contact lenses. I spent over 10 years in loosely fitting lenses and would often lose lenses biking, boxing, working, in the wind, etc. I have not lost a lens since getting properly fitted at this store! Thank you!

We have both worked in IT for nearly three decades. We know exactly why you are using AI to answer your phone. When you decided you cannot not afford to pay employees a decent living wage so you can adequately staff your clinic instead of overpaying your executives, including a full-time receptionist role, we’ll consider coming back. Until then, you and “Amelia” can keep your inhumanity and greed all to yourselves.

12/12/22 Update: This Visionworks is still, hands down the best place for your vision needed. Staff are always very nice, friendly yet courteous. Highly recommended.

Having previously worked at Visionworks I understand how demanding and exhausting it can be. With that being said it’s nearly impossible to compete with Dr. Hirata but the current doctor is great and I would recommend him. However the staff are just unbearable and they have not been able to retain the good ones. I came in this evening with intentions of purchasing $400 lenses and a $250 frame and the 2 staff members couldn’t have been bothered more to stop their conversation to say hello to us or to help us find the frames I had taken pictures of. They did however tell us bye when we left.

Ordered a pair of new lenses for existing frames. Replacement lenses were cut unevenly and whoever installed the lenses tried forcing them into place, damaging the frame in the process.Brought the pair in for a refund, employee argued with me instead of trying to help. Ultimately received a refund for the lenses, but my frames are now damaged and unwearable. I've done business with various Visionworks locations in the past, but this was so insanely unprofessional I no longer have trust in Visionworks as a service.
