Directly across the street from the resort. Hot tub was working and the heat in the room was good too. Definitely as basic as it gets but I probably wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Keystone.Price is right, room was clean and comfortable, staff was nice as could be.-Gave the room three stars because it was basic not because it was bad-

For the price I suppose it is fair, but very run down, pretty dirty and no one will ever answer the phone. The bed in our room was a complete massive dip. Like sleeping in a saucer bowl. I did try to call and checked at the front and no other room. It was insane. Could tell by looking at it the bed was the shape of a bowl. Someone I met in the hot tub area laughed and said I hope you didn't get room 215, they have the dipped bed and just never replace it and try to not switch you rooms. So they obviously have known 215 has a TERRIBLE bed and just won't even replace it and make you sleep in it. I am not picky and it is nearly not sleepable. I have never had back issues and could barely sleep and major backpain. Whatever you do do NOT stay in room 215. Or bring your own mattress. I get it for the price, but it is a dive so be prepared for that. The floor is scary.Rooms: Super run down, yowzer. It is hard to say if this is a fair price for the quality. I guess it is b/c it is always booked solid. The sheets did seem clean which is nice and the gal at the front desk was nice.Nearby activities: Rooms are very, very rundown. It is right by the ski gondola so great location for skiing Keystone and cannot find anything this price in Keystone. We didn't walk b/c of the major storm, but you could walk over to the ski base.Walkability: You could walk to the ski resort so that is amazing. Convenient. Very little parking and we got the very last spot but were also so wedged against some sort of boat/ pontoon that couldn't get out one side of the car and that was the only parking spot. We saw other guests have no where to park and have to leave. So that is tough.

Great hotel for the price! Do not expect luxury from this place, as it’s not what you’re paying for. Perfect place for ski bums who just need a nice place to sleep and don’t mind the rough edges. The hot tub and proximity to keystone resort are great! Perfect for what we were looking for, and we had a great time. Thanks 3 peaks, we’ll be back!Rooms: As expected hotel roomNearby activities: Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snow tubing, ice skatingWalkability: Walkable to gondola and ski villageFood & drinks: Very close to keystone restaurants and bars

Boo! Just boo! We were locked out of our rooms at 11:30 p.m. Key cards didn't work. Not a big deal just go to the front desk. However the front desk isn't staffed! I waited 30 minutes (no one showed up). I called the emergency number posted on the front door and on the counter, and the phone rings in the drawer behind the counter. Finally at 1:00 a.m. me and some other helpful guests crossed the counter and tried to find a way to break in to no avail. My children and I had to sleep on the couches for 2 hours in the middle of a weekend night while a bunch of drunk people sauntered through. My kids were uneasy and had to be reassured. My daughter has to pee outside in the freezing cold between two cars while I held up a jacket to block the elaborate exterior camera network. A random dog escaped and joined us as refugees in our hotel. Finally, around 2 am a kind stranger (and grateful dog owner) let us sleep in his extra bunk beds. It was a very poor nights sleep. We were all too tired to ski the next day ruining our ski weekend. I wasn't able to retrieve our belongings from the room until 7:00 a.m. next day. I was assured I would be issued a refund. 11 days and three phone calls later I still have not received the promised call from the owner, nor any kind of refund. I am now going through the credit card company. I did get offered the excuse "we get a lot of requests for refunds so sometimes it takes a while to get a call back."The hotel is nothing nothing special. The management is abysmal. I definitely wouldn't stay here with children in case there's any need from the hotel staff.

This is a customer service related review on this lodge/hotel. I was making reservations for 5 of my employees who are traveling in from different countries for a conference. I made the reservations for 5 rooms online. Since this was a company paid trip, I needed them to send a Credit Card Authorization form so their rooms are paid for by the company. I also needed to make some changes to one of the room's check in dates. I tried to email the contact email several times and also called several times while leaving voicemails. I didnt get any responses! They finally answered the phone today, one day before their check in, and the guy sounded like he just woke up or was stoned! He didn't seem to care about my issue and was very unprofessional. He didn't seem to know what a credit card authorization form was either and said he had to "get back" to me after talking to his boss. Who knows if I will actaully hear back though! I honestly hope my employees still have a good trip and they BETTER NOT try to charge these employees out of pocket upon arrival after my several attempts to ensure that our company pays for these rooms! 3 Peaks really needs to up their customer service game since this is the Hospitality business! I would like to add the response from the hotel via email after I posted this review:"Thank you for your kind review about our property!!!!!!!!! You seem like a great HUMAN.How about first off you Let us know the names of the employees that will be coming here to our proper free. Second of you should always contact the number that is on our website. We have employees that are at the phones from 9 AM until 11 PM daily. If you call from hours before after this, obviously no one will be answering the phone because front desk is closed. We will have management reach back to you immediately after you let us know the employee's names and Arrival dates. We will make sure that whatever credit card has been given for this reservation is the only card that is charged. We hope you have a wonderful day and your employees enjoy their stay with us. Thank you very much and god bless."

While conveniently located across from Keystone'sMountain House, this place left much to be desired. The mattress was probably the original one from whenever the motel was established and I didn't get much sleep as a result. One pillow case had a tiny blood stain and the sheets were pilling causing rough sheets, if you can imagine. There is dirt/dust inside the heating/cooling unit and it is not temperature controlled, so you decide if you want to be on fire the whole night or freezing. There were interesting scents through the whole place: mostly bleachy/moldy.The sauna appeared nice from initial inspection, but there was a gray ring of filth film around the perimeter and the chemicals were so strong my eyes are still burning 24 hours later.I paid $177 for one night here, $40 being a resort fee or something of the like, so if I'd paid $60-90, I wouldn't be writing this review as I would have expected those conditions.I think replacing old/worn out items would really help this place out.

My favorite place to stay in Keystone. I will definitely stay here every time I come to Summit County!Loved relaxing in hot tub after cold day on mountain. Staff had great recommendations on local area, wonderful customer service, super helpful. Excellent location if you are catching live music across the street at The Goat, best local’s hangout, venue & bar in the area for some walkable nightlife.Super clean, easy parking & access. Comfortable beds. Look forward to returning! Going to be a great winter & this is the spot to stay in the area!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! My friend has been staying here for weeks for work and says the electricity goes out all the time and the hotel does nothing to accommodate her or keep her warm! Front desk clerk is never there and the main number never answers their phone!
