I think it is hilarious this is considered affordable housing. There is nothing affordable about living here: rent is nearly $2,400 per month plus utilities for a two bed/two bath; and they charge $150 for a second parking pass per month. Not to mention the $1,000 security deposit that you'll likely never see again. Our dishwasher has been broken since we moved in and the washer tends to puddle water after EVERY wash. The sliding door opens up to a barricade; but, hey, I guess the fresh air is nice.Plus— unfortunately— ever since Alex from the leasing office has quit and gone elsewhere; her replacement has been very unhelpful, rude, and not in the office during posted hours. I honestly do not believe she was trained to do her job correctly which is why she cannot answer your questions and is unaware of how things were run beforehand.I appreciated the extra storage room right outside of our apartment and I enjoyed living 5 minutes from the ski resort; however, this place is best for two couples to rent together in order to make it affordable.

I have seen a lot of bad reviews on here and I would just like to say that it's born from ignorance, at least as it pertains to "overpriced". As a resident of Summit County for over 7 years, I can testify to the rent prices county wide. 1st, there's a difference between "workforce housing" and "low income housing". Wintergreen has both options. Workforce just means you need to be working in the county to qualify, and doesn't mean cheap rent. If you look at all other apartments in the county, Wintergreen is on-par with what everyone else charges. I lived in Vail Resorts Employee Housing for 5 years, having to live with a new set of strangers every 6 months and I was incredibly grateful for that, especially with rent only being around 500 bucks per month all bills paid. Perspective can change everything. When I resided in Employee Housing, I regularly sought out roommate situations in this county, and a single bedroom in a strangers house will cost you a thousand bucks a month. If you want your own apartment out here, you're going to pay bigtime, with 1st and last months rent plus an equal deposit, about 4 grand minimum. But with wages being upwards of 20$ an hour out here, a married couple could easily afford the rent, so long as they save and are both working. That's not "Gorman" or "Wintergreen's" fault, that's just Summit County. If that's not affordable, get on the wait list for the "low income" housing. Last I checked, there were 3 tiers of rent, based off what you make pert year. A person making only 20 thousand per year, for instance, is only going to be paying 500 per month to have their own 1 bedroom apartment. That is astonishing and priceless. I pay the most for a 1 bedroom, and it's only 1 thousand per month, which is also an astonishing blessing, especially considering they will allow me to better myself in life, meaning I can get pay raises up to 80 grand per year salary before my rent would ever change. Wintergreen is still a new property, and they'll be building another entire building for "low income" housing soon, so get on those wait lists now. As for the management concerns, I myself am in property management and the problem is not Gorman. It's Summit County in general. Hiring, training, and retaining employees out here can be challenging because most of the workers are transplants from other cities/states, and they all eventually miss their hometowns and families, or cannot handle the harsh winters, so they quit constantly. That is the reality of life out here and acceptance is the key to peace. As for Gorman, the managers have always been nice and kind. Property Management isn't just sitting in your office all day like an apartment complex manager. Out here, those managers are all over the place handling countless issues nobody ever sees. Have patience with this property and these mangers for it's a great blessing to have this opportunity. 3 years ago Wintergreen was just a forest, so keep that in mind. And if you cannot handle how things function in this county, maybe it's not for you. You're either here to ski and party, or you're here to make money. If it's "making money", you cannot lose because everyone in the entire county is always hiring and it's all accessible by a free county-wide bus system. I personally witnessed a married couple start out flipping burgers for Vail Resorts and living in Employee Housing. Within 2 years they had a brand new SUV and were able to buy a half-million dollar condo. That's what's out here---opportunity. And Wintergreen only helps that opportunity. Take hold of it because if you cannot make it here, then you can't make it anywhere.Peace.

They are trying to scam my girlfriend out of her security deposit even though she never broke lease. Legal action may have to be taken if you move in here be aware.

The leasing office is an absolute joke. (Hint to future tenants call the corporate office of gormant usa) they will direct you to the regional manager its the only way to get the leasing office to do their job.

Seems as if some tenants are using the parking lot's as a auto lot. Lot's of traffic in evenings. Loud music! Perfect place for 24hrs animals. No changes. Just police monitoring activities

Nobody in office for hours at a time or sometimes whole days when hours say it will be. either somebody is leaving the office for long periods of time and need to get fired or you guys need to just change your office hours to what they actually are.

I’ve been living in these apartments since February. I can honestly say i love living here. Even throughout the transition to new management the staff has been great and very helpful. The pricing on the apartments is good considering you’re living in keystone and right down the street from the resort.

Over priced, and management is just not doing their job well. It is clear by the people that were "vetted" to move in disrespect this chance they have been given (low income/work force housing). If you are a potential buyer/renters these rooms have the highest monthly rate in the county. Not worth the money, but just come find out for yourself if you don't believe this testimony. Im close friends with someone who lives in one of the units. I've been over multiple times. Lets add to this that in the past week they have posted notices that they will be coming into my friends place and every other apartment for no given reason and only like 12 hours notice. You have a right to privacy and this is just infuriating.Since it won't let me publicly respond to what Gorman said, this is my reply. You have to give the residents ample time before invading their privacy. 24 hours. Also, my friend who is a resident was present for the first unscheduled maintenance inspection. She told me they did absolutely nothing. Companies like Gorman do this as a power play. Its disgusting. Just because you built them doesn't give you the right to violate renter rights, especially when tenants are compliant with all other regulations and rules. These are still over priced, it doesn't change that either. You can reply with your corporate textbook answer, but whoever replied is clearly not directly involved. So thanks, for nothing
