Thank you La Junta car quest in renewing privilege white discrimination toward a Mexican Man! As I was in to pick up a part I bought in Rocky Ford, (who did not have the part in stock, but the La Junta store did) I walked in and explained my reasons for being here to a young man behind the counter. Before he was able to say anything, an older white man (who was in mid conversation with another older white man) turned around, saw me, literally tossed the part across the counter without an acknowledgement. The young man who initially made contact with me to the ticket from the part and quietly said Thank You! So needless to say, this will be the last time I shop at any of these stores! Sad day when you choose not to support the local part store!

We were stranded on vacation needing a fuel pump. Every other parts store in town was unable to help us, 2-3 day wait. The owners of this store made the extra effort to get our part that same day. They offered shade for us to work in and tools. A disaster of a vacation was avoided because of their kindness. They were wonderful people to work with, and their kindness will never be forgotten.

I always go to carquest, mostly cause they've work in a shop, they do mechanics/paint/body work and rarely are stumped on anything to do with cars/trucks bikes, just ask a question
