Stopped in to use the restroom with the kiddos but was delighted by a lovely store with really cool stuff, knowledgeable staff and an amazing view of a historical building and area. We are definitely stopping back in on our next trip. Thank you!

It's really a nice store I was very impressed with the new opening
Granite Canyon General Store dates back to the early 1900’s and served as the Lake George Post Office from 1910-1989. It is an historic 113+ year old general store located on the historic property once owned by George Frost – Lake George’s founder and namesake and is named after the original name of Eleven Mile Canyon - Granite Canyon.
Granite Canyon General Store has incredible historic photographs of the Frost Mansion and Lake George Hotel, the Lake George ice mining operations as well as historic 1880's photos of when the Colorado Midland Railway in Granite Canyon.
We have a full liquor store featuring Colorado beer and spirits, groceries, fudge, camping gear, fishing tackle, apparel, unique gifts and souvenirs and much more.
