Excellent experience. Took a little time but very friendly staff and a clean healthy place for cats that need rescue. We left with 2 ....a brother and sister and they are beautiful blessings. So happy we found them at Angel's with Paws. One day when they accept Bitcoin as payment they will get a 5th star.

A friend adopted a cat from them and now they are trying to come and take it away. They say that my friend did not follow a contract to return a sick and suffering animal to them first. I can't think of anything worse than threatening to take away a beloved pet because you don't agree with their parenting.

The staff here truly care about the cats in their care. Each room has alot of bedding choices for the cats which was all very clean. Was there twice to look. I don't know everyones name who helped throughout the process but a special thanks to Elizabeth for being so friendly and helpful. Was able to find a perfect addition to my family. Angels with Paws cares what happens even after they are adopted and offer help if needed in the future. I would definitely go back here in the future or recommend. They were happy to receive the items I donated too. (There is a smell when you first enter. I'm sure not much can be done about that. I'm sure its just from soo many cats. I'm just mentioning it so it's not a shock. That would be the only negative thing I would say. But again all the rooms floors/cat towers/bedding/toys is kept clean. Nothing was gross to touch or sit on.) Thanks for providing a safe place for my cat till I adopted her.

These people do wayyyyy to much to adopt a cat to a loving family there are cats here dying and the people act like they just want to raise them and live as a family how can you run an "adoption agency" and barley accept anyone that comes in its ridiculous foothills doesn't even do this much I was wondering why no one was there to see these cats they have and now I know why

We just tried to adopt a cat that we fell in love with here and after filling out an application we never heard back. So we went in a week later and they told us they didn't think that they could adopt out to us because we live in an RV but they were really wishy-washy about how the rules work and said they needed to check with "the board" and would call us with an answer. We never heard back from them, so we had to call them again, but the workers didn't seem to know what they were talking about so I requested to speak to somebody on the board and never heard from anyone. I called again and was told someone would call me the next day. They did and they left a voicemail saying not only can they not adopt to someone in an RV (because we don't have a "permanent" address even though they rent to people in apartments and we are at a long-term RV park) but they also only adopt out to Colorado residents, which we were never told about or we wouldn't have even looked at their cats. I think the RV rule is discriminatory against those who live in RVs but maybe if they hadn't strung us along for weeks and continuously ignored us, then it wouldn't have been such a bad experience. The cat we fell in love with is 14 y/o and we wanted to give her a loving home- when we last saw her she was so sick she was mouth-breathing. I hope they treat her right to get her healed and I hope she finds a good home despite AWP's discriminatory policies and terrible communication skills.

What a wonderful place! They really care about all the cats in their care regardless of age or condition. They have a fantastic new building with more room for the kitties to play!

Came here with friends and told the lady which kitten I wanted. Gave her my information and she went ahead and confirmed details with my apartment complex. Told her I will be back with a carrier. When I came back that same kitten I told them I wanted was getting adopted by another family. Apparently that lady left for the day and didn’t tell a single person working about that, but somehow everyone there knew that I was approved. They continued to proceed with the other families adoption right in front me. I felt completely ignored and hurt. This place is a great place where cats are not in cages, however needs a lot of work on communication and professionalism.

Their cause is awesome, but they do a horrible job executing it. One medical attendant on staff and a fire hazard of a building where there’s barely space to move. I’m sure they do their best, but the cats all have so many different issues and they deserve to be in a place where they can get personalized care, attention, and treatment based on what they need.

This is where we got our kitty Daisy. The place is wonderful. The people are wonderful and helpful. They take very good care of the kitties that aren’t up to par. My husband passed away December 2022, and I am so thankful that I have Daisy. When I picked her up, she had been chipped and vaccinated. So please support this wonderful place for kitty fur babies.
