My experience with AvenueWest has been one of the best working with any “landlords” in the past. They tended to any problem that arose in a very quick manner and has really been a breath of fresh air! Amazing people and properties

Despite my initial enthusiasm upon joining the AvenueWest Raleigh/Atlanta team, my experience here was deeply troubling. The promises of opportunities turned out to be empty words, and the way Kristi and Jason conducted themselves was concerning.I witnessed manipulative behavior from both of them, and their actions included discriminatory practices like raising rent for specific racial groups and unwarranted hostility towards Asian individuals. Jason's habit of yelling at employees created a hostile work environment, and they showed a complete lack of empathy by delaying my final paycheck for three weeks, despite my status as a mother.Additionally, their “management style” made it feel as though they held ownership over their employees, creating a rather uncomfortable work atmosphere.Furthermore, it's essential to mention that Jason and Kristi made inappropriate jokes about my son's autism to another employee, displaying a complete lack of sensitivity and professionalism. In summary, I strongly advise caution to anyone considering dealings with this business, as my eight-month tenure here was marred by dishonesty, mistreatment, manipulation and a disregard for employees' well-being.

Led me on believing they wanted to rent out my place and manage my property, only for them to make unrealistic claims and say they did not want to move forward at the last minute. They were shady, unprofessional, and not communicative. Honestly think I dodged a bullet

Terrible ExperienceMy experience with Avenue West has been disappointing. What they sold me around the services they provide was different from reality. I was told they successfully rent out spaces in my area and provide white glove service, supporting why they charge 30%. There needs to be more communication and accountability from the Avenue West Team. I chased them for updates, what they were doing to rent my home, and any market insights. A few times, I had yet to learn my home was being rented, and then long stints of no renters at all. There needed to be more upfront information about what was happening. I had to chase for updates and was never told what they were doing to position my home to be rented. I even had to chase a few times for them to acknowledge that I wanted to terminate my agreement with them. They were, however, swift to send bills to fix anything in my home and send invoices. The team lacked care and professionalism. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a partner and success in renting your home.

I have never in my life been lied to and deceived by a property management company more than I was with AvenueWest Denver. I have never EVER been forced out of my own home, or forced to break a lease by a property manager before, and I am extremely disappointed by how this company treats their tenants.I rented a property (house) with AvenueWest along with my fiancee and another married couple. I was the main point of contact and was really excited that our original leasing agent was so sweet. Unfortunately, she left the position right when we moved in, and things went downhill from there.About halfway through our lease, I received a phone call from Angela (the owner's wife and only leasing agent) letting me know that my roommates had decided to dissolve the lease and did not need to speak with me or have my permission to do so. This was a surprise to me, but I don't blame the company for my awful roommate choice. I do, however, blame them for blatantly lying to me throughout the entire process.Angela pretended to be on my side, giving me the "option" to move out early to avoid paying an extra month of rent and fees for breaking the lease early, which she told me would come from my old roommates. They also withheld almost my entire security deposit for "junk removal fees", and flat out refused to pay my fiancee's half back. After months of waiting for my security deposit to be returned, the owner of AvenueWest reached out and outright lied to me about the law!! I used to be a leasing agent, and you do legally have to return a security deposit within a specified amount of time. I am pretty patient and understanding, and I would not have been so upset if they didn't continue to directly lie to me about the situation. Only after threatening legal action did they finally return a partial sum of my security deposit to me. They did not, however, send valid receipts to show deductions, but I did not feel it would be worth it to go to court over the couple hundred dollars, as I was already being forced to move in the middle of a pandemic, and that is expensive and exhausting.Turns out, the old roommates are still living there! The lease was never dissolved and they just wanted an excuse to have their other friend who had recently moved to Colorado live with them. Again, I don't blame AvenueWest for my old roommates being awful people. I do absolutely hold the lying and deceiving FROM THE OWNER'S OF THE COMPANY 100% against AvenueWest Denver.I cannot go on enough about how many times this company would ignore my calls, laugh at me over the phone, lie to my face, and STILL call me thinking I am my old roommates (which is how I learned they lied to me in the first place).Needless to say, I will NEVER be renting from this company again. What they are doing is absolutely illegal and I can only hope that one day someone will be better off than me and able to take them to court for how they choose to treat their tenants.

I’ve worked with AvenueWest as a franchisee for over 8 years. I find Angela and the team very responsive as well as knowledgeable in temporary furnished housing. Highly recommend.
