I have been buying electronics from Best Buy since 2016 and didn't have any bad experience as a customer. I have also used this particular store since 2023 and the people there were generally nice and helpful.I bought a HP laptop on Nov 19th, 2023. I also have a Best Buy Plus membership which gives me 2 months to return a product if I don't like it. I was not satisfied with the price given its specification and went to the store to return it on Jan 21st, 2024, just 2 days after the official return period was over.I was expecting that for a big franchise like Best Buy, they would allow a return as it was just 2 days after the return period was officially over. The manager neither wanted to give me a return nor gave me any store credit for my lack-of-satisfaction with this particular product. He was arguing about the 'rule' of 60-day return policy which I understand. In such situations, big companies usually give some benefit to the customer, maybe some store credit if not a return, just so that the customer stays with the company.I found the post-purchase customer service and client relations of Costco and Amazon to be much better than Best Buy, at least this particular store. This may be the last time I buy any electronics from Best Buy.

My newly installed washer and dryer flooded my home. It was on the test cycle the installer set it to. When it hit the draining portion it started leaking water everywhere. There is zero customer support or help. Not even a transfer to tech support or Geek Squad. They offered me $62, an exchange and an appointment at a later date. They destroyed my home and cannot even get someone here ASAP to look at the situation. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years. I was so excited to buy my first appliance. This experience has left me ruin. They take zero responsibility. A supervisor could not be bother to take my call. My HOME FLOODED DUE TO POOR INSTALL.

I wanted to buy an electric scooter, I asked a guy, and he showed me just one for $1000 and he said to me that was the only one model, I said ok, and I walked to the next aisle and I saw 2 different models for $400 and $500 I asked a girl for this one and she sold me that one.

I bought a used open box TV from the Best Buy Belmar location in Lakewood, CO and didn't come with a box. The guy that helps with putting items in the car said that it may not fit, but he would try to fit it in my car. He picks up the TV by himself and carelessly tries to shove it in my car. He rests the feet of the TV on the door jamb of my car and ends up scratching my car. I said, "What the heck man you just scratched my car, what are you going to do about it". He replied that he tried to put it in my car and it didn't fit and he is not reliable for scratching my car and didn't even apologize. Then he just walked away. I talked to one of the managers about it and he told me that was store policy and they are not liable and was defending his careless employee. They are both arrogant jerks. I hate arrogance and people that don't take responsibility for their actions. I did have the option to ask my neighbor to use their vehicle and come back with that. But I trusted the guy when he said he could get the TV in my car since he does it all the time and that he would be careful and was not careful at all. I came back with my neighbor and his vehicle and a couple other guys loaded it in with no problems and they even took the time to take the legs off not to damage the TV or the vehicle. The scratch that the employee put in my car will rust if I don't pay for someone to fix it which will cost me at least a few hundred dollars fix by the looks of it. That scratch really effect retail value and my pockets I have been a loyal customer to this Best Buy the past few years since I've lived in this area and have spent a lot of money here. I can't believe they would treat a loyal customer like that or any customer for that matter. They just lost a great customer and I won't recommend anyone to shop at this Best Buy. This Best Buy has really gone down hill the past couple of years as well. I do my shopping during the day when there is hardly anyone in the store and still takes a good 30 minutes to get help from an employee in any department. And now customer care is pretty much non existent other than a handful of employees. Not paying for the damage and being very rude to a customer after scratching their car is unacceptable.

Just bought a new tv to find out the remote stopped connecting to the tv. went back and was told im out of luck and to contact the manufacture. I asked to speak to the general manager Andrew and was told by Hernan the associate that it will be the same answer. Been shopping with them for years and its definitely a disappointment to see their customers turned away in such fashion. will probably be going to shop another place.

Great geek squad. Evangelina was so helpful:) Unfortunately they do not sell the batteries for the computer that I bought from them about 3 years ago, but she helped me order the part from Micro Center who said the part would be waiting for me with an order number ( it wasn’t and they had horrible customer service and the wrong part number If you want rude people to treat you badly go there) I highly recommend this Best Buy and the Geek Squad there
