Worst staff ever. Pretty sure it's illegal to close your bathroom before closing time. I've never come across such a terrible group of people as this night staff. The hairy unkempt man who told me the bathrooms were closed, was actually picking his nose. I'd rather not give a bad review to a King Soopers but this place needs to be restaffed. It's ugly when you treat people poorly and I'm definitely going to make sure these people are reported. And the produce section is disgusting.

Went to customer service to get a new rewards card because someone was using my old one for my fuel points. I added the card to my account and found out that customer service gave me an old one that they had been using for everyone's cigarette and money order purchases. Totally defeats the purpose of preventing someone from having my loyalty card number. Called customer service to tell them what happened and the woman who answered was nothing but rude. Don't take it out on customers just because you're a miserable person.

I have been shopping at this King Soopers since moving to Colorado in the early 80s. I used to enjoy shopping there, but over the past few years it has really gone downhill. It's getting harder and harder to find what I want there. I was there yesterday and they are putting up locked glass panels over the cosmetics area. This store is really turning into a slum! The pharmacy hit a new low when I called today. In the past, pharmacy workers there told me to call in a prescription several days ahead of time if the prescription has run out so they will have plenty of time to contact my doctor about a refill. I did this and called the pharmacy a couple days later to find out when I could pick it up. I got a recording saying it would be ready after 2 PM on a date two days out. When I called on the morning of the day it was supposed to be ready I got a recording saying the pharmacy needed to contact my physician. I requested to be transferred to a pharmacist. I waited for about five minutes, listening to horrible music, when someone came on the line and said, "I'm putting you on hold," very quickly and rudely. Again I had to listen to the horrible music until a woman finally came on the line. I told her that I had gotten a recording a couple days earlier saying my prescription would be ready today, and today I just got a recording saying they hadn't contacted my physician yet, and I told her they needed to get their story straight. She told me my prescription would be ready tomorrow. When I asked her what time she said she had, "No idea." This used to be a nice store with mostly helpful, friendly employees, including the pharmacy. Now it's just a run-down place with rude employees and exorbitantly high prices! I'm going to start driving a few extra miles to go to the King Soopers in Golden or Green Mountain, or maybe just go to Safeway!

Not one to review grocery stores but this KIng Soopers location is absolutely rock bottom. They didn't have three of the five items I was after. These items were: 1.english muffins 2. half and half and 3. cherries (in season). In general the shelves looked like they had been ransacked with no indication they were being restocked. Only the self check out lanes were open and it was a pain in the ass to use my own bag (whereas most places have figured that out) I wanted to buy a lotto ticket and the person at the customer service desk was quite unpleasant and refused to sell me a ticket. The surrounding plaza is sad and run down. Not a nice place: avoid.

There's actually not a worse KS location, at least not that I've encountered on the front range.

This is a King Soopers where I've been going to since I was a kid, since I was too young to remember. I still visit from time to time, it's still the closest King Soopers to my mom. But I never visit the fresh herbs, and rarely anything in the veggie case except peppers or carrots. Mom sent me there to pick up herbs, and stuff I'd never heard of for short ribs. The place was packed (Christmas next week), grocers were feverishly working to restock. I got frustrated and asked Joe, one of the grocers. Even he wasn't sure, he grabbed Vince. The two of them took time from feverishly restocking to walk me around and show me where everything is. It reminded that that from the time I was a kid until now, the staff are just the greatest people. They may have shortcomings elsewhere in the store, but certainly never the staff!

The app is completely wrong when it tells you what isle items are in. Every other king Soopers I've been to at least list the correct isles. When the cashier asked "did you find everything ok?" I explained the error on the app and was told "we do things differently here. You have to shop here a few times to know where things are at." Seriously? This isn't a little country store in a one stop light town. No thanks. I'll go to the next store who cares enough about their customers to not waste there time with incorrect information.

Growing up in Colorado, I've always always been a fan of Kind Soopers. So you can imagine my disappointment living near the WORST King Soopers in the metro area? This store has the poorest selection and the shelves often look like a bomb went off. The checkers seem like the are working in molasses and the pharmacy is always a cluster. I was prompted to write this as I stand in line at 10am on a Sunday morning as the TWO checkout lanes open each have 10+ people in them. Who would think a grocery store would be busy on a Sunday??

Feels like a smaller walamrt, only less clean. The outer perimeter of interior is laid out nicely, open area. The aisles are narrow. Floor is a little dirty and the front end is unappealing. Staff did not look they wanted to be there.

The Pharmacy and the Store are Poorly RunI called the pharmacy to simply transfer a prescription there from another pharmacy. The guy who answered identified himself as "Haaaaaah" and informed me that I needed to call the pharmacy where the prescription was currently being held to get it transferred. So I called Walgreens, and I was informed by the voice system in a recorded message that I needed to contact the pharmacy where I wanted to prescription filled. This ticked me off. I called the King Soopers Pharmacy back and spoke to Haaaaaah again. I asked him why he told me to call Walgreens. He laid the phone down and I heard him complaining about me to a colleague. When he finally came back to the phone, I asked to speak to his manager. He stuttered and muttered and then said something about no manager working today. Obviously.I then asked for the store manager. A woman named Tony finally came on the phone. She sounded like she was right out of high school. She "acted" as the general manager of the store, who apparently doesn't have voicemail where I can leave a message. I asked her if she was in charge of the pharmacy and she stated that she was not. However, when I asked for the name of the person in charge there, she could only give me a first name and could give me NO WAY to contact him. I finally gave up. This store is so poorly run. I have no idea who is really in charge there. What a bunch of idiots.

I read another person's comments about rude customer's. My experience is that the employees in this store set the tone. Unhappy and grumpy employees has been my experience. The staff runs you over, they don't move when walking Straight at you and I just can't stand it anymore. I'll take another person's suggestion and visit the Youngfield store.

Most of the time this store is really good. It's very convenient and they have a fair number of good deals. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful. The only reason I don't give it five stars is sometimes you do get a crabby one, and sometimes the employees seem to be overworked. The management should try to insure that the store is adequately staffed during anticipated busy times.

I moved into the area and this location is about 1000 feet from my house , problem is I have to drive to my next king soopers to get what we are shopping for. The meat selection is slim, freshness questionable , building dilapidated , and the location brings some questionable patrons and loiterers. I can't find the brands we like and it's poorly organized . You can buy guacamole and salsa in four different areas of the store and pop in about 6 but try to find your way around the store in an organized fashion and you will be left scratching your head .
