The night time clerk Jerry is awesome he always comes to work and not only has to do his job but he has to deal with The damn Homeless and he's out numbered 10- to 1 he isn't a jerk untill he finds the homeless smoking drugs or hanging out everywhere then he will come out of the store and he has to tell all of them they can't just hangout and he has to yell at them to go away and stop coming around if your not going to buy something or hassle his customers and he will get mad a threaten to call Lakewood cops if he see them homeless smoking drugs !
Jerry doesn't need the cops because the local homeless resepct Jerry and if he starts yelling at them they know they better be leaving he can clear that pkace out a lot faster easier and bettter than the Law can!
plus the store needs constant cleaning and stocking I don't know how Simon and his awesome employees do it
but they work their butts off and they are constantly busy busy busy and people suck and they can only watch one thing at a time and people are theives and they couldn't possibly stop everyone that is just taking things without paying for it !
but God knows Simon and the employees aren't the bad guys here they are working hard on a dangerous location and with the amour of money thiz place is making maybe they should hire a street sweeper to come clean the dirty parking lot and maybe even a security guard to walk the property and give the cashier a little peace of mind that they the security ( that they don't have ) could keep the homeless drug addicted people away and keep an eye on them while the cashier is busy with paying customers and cleaning and stocking ! so corporate you need to get down off your high horse and maybe you should come work the night shift ALONE and see how you do with all the homeless and the volume of customers and crime Simon and he brave hardworking crew deserve higher wages and a hell of a lot more respect and i'm sure they are not making enough money to put up with half the crap they live through every single night !
these employees don't only do a hood damn job but in my opinion they put their lives on the line dealing with the situation! Give them some respect credit and more money by the hour than you do and i would like to see the big boss come out and work one night there alone and see if the under cover boss can handle it as he runs the store !
try it corporate i dare ya
then maybe you will see it's not that easy doing a good job dealing with everything these employees are having to deal with they are awesome and deserve a pat on the back and some kind of reward and back up !

Understaffed never really open when they say they're open completely flooded with dirty people outside Who are begging you for money Or screaming and yelling on some kind of substance.

Jerrica is the best! She definitely has came and gave this store a whole 360! Actual room on the floor to walk now and coolers actually stocked!! I usually have a horrible experience here when coming on my morning commute, but she definitely has made it 100 times better!

Avoid this location. It is always surrounded by homeless people. They have destroyed this location, and nobody is doing anything about it. The lot has been trashed, and you can not get inside without being bothered and asked for money. They need to clean this place up before they lose all of their customers.

Avoid this store! I've been a customer here for more than 20 yrs. This location has really gone bad. Rude and angry employees, dirty and sticky floors & counter tops, substantial transient population openly using drugs / alcohol. You can't hardly get in without tripping over people passed out around the store. If you'd like a little slice of an LA slum right here in Lakewood , this is.the spot for you! I won't be back.

All the employees are really awesome here. Sometimes there is a rough crowd around at night but nothing the store can control.

This location is always filthy especially their coffee station and coffee creamer station on top of the coffee machines the containers that hold the beans have some kind of gooey residue all over outside of them.

Had a sign on the door saying they closed at 8pm for whatever reason but their doors were locked at 7:40 and didn’t even acknowledge me while they continued to help a handful of people inside. This staff sucks. The fact that that one chick has the nerve to put out a tip jar when she does a terrible job. Dirty, poorly stocked shelf’s, and a staff that couldn’t give a damn.

Air pump broken no nozzle for the connection, no sign for out of order either.. spent money and couldn't even use it to fill a flat
