This bank has a long ways to go to retain their customers. First, even mediocre bank or credit card company offers a free payment via phone automated system. They charge $10 to make a payment over the phone, only with a rep. No automated option. When I forgot to make a payment, they did not give me one single call and did not bother to send me a text or email I was late. They just reported me to credit agencies. My address wasn't updated, but there are ways how to communicate. I had to buy a new car and it took 3 months to get the welcome packet. The address on the packet was like 5 years old. They did not even bother to check the car loan application for the most up to date address. I made a payment and a week later, I get emails and texts that my loan is late. Completely disjointed and way behind any normal bank. As soon as the interest rates start to drop, I will refinance and go elsewhere.

I have been a member of the Credit Union of Denver since 2011, and have always been incredibly happy with the services I’ve received. I’ve financed two auto purchases through the credit union, and both times the purchasing process with the dealership was seamless, as was my time spent paying down the loan. Christian B and Danelle P were both incredibly helpful in paying off my second auto loan recently and couldn’t have felt like I was better taken care of, especially on such a large transaction. I plan on always keeping them as my credit union of choice whenever I need their services.

Way Out Wonderful (WOW) is what comes to mind when I think about the staff at The Credit Union of Denver. Vanessa is warehouse of information which she articulates effortlessly in layman’s terms. I feel completely comfortable and transparent discussing my business goals and dreams.Monique taught me how to utilize the Debit Card Advantage Program and made sure that my accounts were synchronized to account the advantages of this program.Seanna is great with handling same day debit card replacement and all issues related to debit card functionality for easy ATM access.Jordyn is a customer service teller who knows how to handle multiple transactions at once while keeping a calm demeanor. Jordyn treated my account as though she was handling her mother’s account with grace and a sense of ownership and thoughtfulness.Joe in the credit card department helped me increase my credit limit from $300 to $400 which I was able to utilize within 24 hours.Linda – The amazing Fraud repair specialist. Linda was able disable my card, review all the suspicious transactions and helped to create a dispute form to eradicate the discrepancy and activate my knowing that all monies will be returned to my account swiftly.Cecila – has always been a great point of contact at the Lakeview and Auraria Campus locations. Cecilia always has a pleasant energy, and she knows how to toggle financial deposits and withdrawals between my personal, business and credit card accounts with ease and grace.Kat – First point of contact. She guided me to the correct employees who were able to handle my various requests.Each of these outstanding employees are pieces of a dynamic puzzle which connects smoothly. I am honored and appreciative of the stellar customer service that I continue to receive each time I visit this Lakewood location. I love the community and personable energy that manifests itself without hesitation.There is not enough space on this google platform for me to include more detailed information about how I enjoy my visits to The Credit Union of Denver; however I will say, “Thank you” . . “Hey hey hey” and continue to demonstrate the authenticity that I receive during each visit.I know that as I continue to utilize the Lakewood staff, I will meet other employees who demonstrate a great representation of personal consideration and implementation in the banking business.I look forward to generating more financial abundance, increasing my knowledge of how money circulates and any other unexpected blessings which I know will manifest. I am so disappointed I banked with them. I have my car loan there, and that is the only business they are getting from me. I got frauded and they made me pay for it...$1500.00 worth, during the holidays and they took the money from me. So disgusted. Hope you rot! I gave 1 star because I had to..I would have gave none!

From the very beginning, Irvin went above and beyond to assist me in verifying my information and setting up my accounts. His professionalism and attention to detail were truly outstanding.When it came time to close a loan and establish checking and savings accounts, Silvia stepped in, and she was equally amazing. She guided me through the entire process with patience and expertise, making sure I understood all the details and options available to me.What truly stood out was the overall atmosphere of the Credit Union of Denver. I interacted with a couple of other employees during my visits, and everyone I encountered was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly pleasant and welcoming. My experience with the Credit Union of Denver has been great. When I need to reserve an office space for The Hughes Law Firm it's always done with professionalism and class. They have a very friendly staff as well. Thankful to CUD.

I requested help on some follow up on my HELOC so I could cover a house repair that happened before my card arrived. I dropped in and a Financial Services Representative was immediately available. Nestor was fantastic in getting a cash advance from the HELOC into my CUD checking account right then, and I was out in fifteen minutes. Bill paid and off my personal credit card. Great service at a terrific credit union!

I have been a long time member of Credit Union of Denver. I have had an excellent experience and have had all of my needs met and questions answered by many people working there, but most recently I have been working with Irvin and he has been an amazing help! He is so clear and quick in his communication and was always willing to follow up if I had a question that needed some more investigation to get the answer. He is very polite and I would recommend working with him and CU Denver.

When I opened an account with Credit Union of Denver this was one of the best decision I have ever made. The staff is stellar and when I financed my car I got a great rate. Anytime I need assistance I am able to speak with a representative quickly. Every time I have spoken to a representative they are very knowledgeable. My questions are answered in a timely fashion. I most recently was connected to David Lamham and he was prompt and very informative. This is the best credit union I have worked with and really appreciate how the customer care is spot on!!!!!

Came in first time, because I got financing for a vehicle with them and it was possibly the best bank/credit union experience ever. Cecile at the register was awesome and got everything done for me in a matter of minutes. Everything was easy and seems like they have all the bases covered, and that was without me even being a member, since we moved relatively recently.Will do an update later, but so far 5/5, thank you Cecile and CUD!

I was the victim of a car crash and had a spinal injury. I thought my insurance covered the whole cost of the car. I had a few hundred dollars left as the balance. Once I got out the hospital I found this information out and payed them within ten days. This was in 2019 and they still refuse to take the late payment off of my credit history, even after a formal dispute thru Transunion.Heartless bunch of people working there that seem as if they could care less when they speak to you. Do yourself a favor and go to elevations credit union. They treat you like a person.

Irving Cardenas was amazing during my loan process. He did his best to rush the closing as my family had to go on vacation and he corrected everything that I have asked. He was also very sweet and helpful during the whole process. Amazing person overall. Thank you! ?
