I arrived to buy some products at the Dollar Tree 1951 South Wadsworth and it was closed. Clearly there is a sign that says they open at 8:00 am and it is already 8:10 and it is still closed.

I'd give the store a zero. The manager accused me of stealing because we had came back to buy more items we couldn't find at another store for my kids school supplies list. Even after showing them our receipts and the tags, they said they had to check the cameras and threaten to call the cops on us because I told them I'm allowed to come and go as I please if Im paying for my stuff. She had said I wasn't allowed to come back after paying. I told her I'm not coming back then she said I'm not allowed to come back I told her that's fine because I don't wanna come back anyways because if her bad customer service. I felt that they were being racist because I'm of mixed race and my kids are majority black. I started to get upset because I have autism, I don't do well with being accused or conflict when I know I work hard for everything I have. My kids also are on the spectrum and I told them my kids were having a meltdown and I'm also disabled and would like to hurry up and pay and leave because I don't do well in stores. And she said it's not here problem. The other lady who checked us out wasn't even on our side either. We were there no more then 10-15 minutes so how could we have time to fill up bags with 3 kids. She claimed to be doing her job but we told her and showed her the evidence that we bought the things and she still continued to argue and accuse us. So I now would likely never go there again because I have bad PTSD (partly because of judgment like this) and would likely have a panic attack or seizures everytime I go in the store. (I could have had one in the store but thankfully only had milder ones but was dizzy after the fact from the conflict.) She called me "horrid" for sticking up for myself which doesn't make sense to me. She barely let me leave when I said I wanted to pay to leave and she kept leaving the register but she said she was the manager which makes no sense. Im under stress as it is with 3 kids and 2 with autism and my own mental, physical and intellectual struggles. My mom attempted to call to get the corporate number and her name she said they don't give that out and hung up on her. She called again only to be hung up on again. If I was in the wrong like she claimed, why not give her name? It's just a sad experience to deal with in 2024. I was just trying to be a mom and get my kids their school supplies. Me and my mom had no clue it would be so hard to find simple school supplies or that we would be stuck in this experience at 8 at night. This is why I tend to order online so I don't have to deal with people. Hopefully this "manager" gets better training and I pray she works on her heart to not just assume or see color and think we all just are trouble makers or can't afford to buy the things we need. I just got back from a family California trip I paid for. I'm a CNA for my disabled. children. I get paid weekly I'm a single mom but I don't need to steal nor do I have the desire to when I have the most high caring for us (God). I always say if we don't have it we don't need it. Never judge a book by its cover. Karma what comes around goes around. Whatever you put out will come back to you. I truly believe the evil come out at night. But I'll forever be the forgiving person I am but like to share and educate people to do better. Especially coming from a disabled black single mother who is only doing her best and like to spread love and kindness.

This store has a big liability on its hands.
I have a heart condition and the extreme levels of heat this store put me at a health risk on Friday. My daughter took me to the ER immediately.
Luckily, I was fine, and lucky for Dollar Tree too, because I would have sued their pants off if I ended up hospitalized due to their negligence.
The doctor reminded me to stay out of the heat. Guess I won’t be visiting this Dollar Tree any time soon, or any other Dollar Tree for that matter.
It’s only a matter of time before someone does have a health problem in this store. I recommend people who have health conditions avoid this store AT ALL COSTS.

Terrible customer service. My special needs child needed to use the restroom. Cart full of stuff and they wouldn’t unlock the door stating “It’s closed”. For a paying customer that spent $40.00. Instead I had to leave my cart full at the register so my child can use the restroom we have in the car. (Child’s potty) thank GOODNESS WE HAD ONE. I went back in to finish shopping and check out. My child was singing a song. Again she is SPECIAL NEEDS. Another worker looked at her with the most disgusted face. I will NEVER come to this location again until you hire quality employees! Educate your ignorant selfs. I’m sure that potty worked for the employees that lack customer service while you allow them to work with the public. Have some standards!

Dollar Tree is great for somethings but you get what you pay for. One in a while there's a great deal. But it's cheap plastic stuff that breaks easily. It's great if you are starting out or dint care about quality. The stores have been cleaner recently.

I just bought a Tijuana mama pickled sausage with other items. I got home and started eating it and it tasted bad. I looked at the expiration date and it is expired. It expired on March 6, 2024 and I bought it on March 14,2024 at 2:22pm. Update: I called the store and they made the experience right and took down the expired pickled sausages. The store manager is very polite and professional.

I wish there was a zero star option. Cherise was on her phone, didn't look up, didn't greet me, I had to beg for my receipt. Worst cashier. Worst experience. What a joke of an employee. I hope you get a write up at the very least from this comment. Grow up and do your job. Nobody likes a Karen.

Today I went to make my purchases at the dollar tree and at the time of canceling the products, there were two employees, the place was alone, they were not busy, they stared at me when I got to the checkout and did not want to approach I went to the checkout to pay for my products, I spent a while waiting to pay for my products and neither of the two employees deigned to receive payment for my products, I decided to leave the place. They are very bad employees and poor service to the public.

Disappointed in this location. It’s never been great but as of today I won’t be back. I went to check out and the cashier, Betty, didn’t even say hello. She was eating her Chex Mix while checking me out, getting her cheese dust on the items I purchased. I asked if I got a receipt and she said I guess not. I said I needed one. I heard her ask the lady in front of me if she needed a receipt but I got no communication. I wouldn’t care about a receipt if it were my money I was shopping with, but I was using a company card to shop for my school. It would have been nice to get the option and a hello. I’ll go out of my way to go to another location.
