I visited famous at the mills today and was disappointed with the worker and service received today. I walked in and the worker girl greeted me from the very back of the store which was all good no complaints about that. But I grabbed what I came for, the laces I needed for a gift, and decided to look around quickly since she wasn’t coming to the register when I had grabbed them and stood up for a second looking towards her. I decided to just quickly look around women’s side and even walked next to the worker in the clearance, and I eventually make my way to the front and I sit there for a good 5 minutes and she hasn’t bothered to check around the corner for what I’m doing or if there’s anybody else in the store. A couple came in while I had been sitting at the register and they were asking me where the men’s boots were and I had to tell them “sorry Im also a customer” . To add, I was on my 15 min work break since I also work at mills so at this point I’m almost needing to be walking back to my store, so I left the laces and left the store. Other stores I’ve gone into on my 15s have served me within 3-5 minutes at the most for context. It’s just super frustrating especially since I’ve worked at that exact same location and have worked in those conditions and know the importance of still having to checking in on customers and making sure people that come in aren’t stealing since it was a high theft location, which is why this experience makes me wonder if the policies changed, maybe the worker is just ignorant about retail service or new to the job, etc, but doubtful of this since the only people that could be in stores alone could only be managers, unless her manager was sitting in the back.I could’ve walked to the back where clearence was and asked her to come up and help me or yelled from her from across the store, the only reasons I decided not to was because of my break time crunch and previously working there and knowing it’s not up to customers to have to come hunt you down for help so I was confused what was going on.After my shift ended later on, I decided to check out OffBroadway and they had someone assigned to register so i got my laces and was assisted super fast and didn’t have the issue I had at famous.

Store was randomly closed at 4pm on a Saturday when I drove out of my way to come make a return. I’m sure there just isn’t staff like everywhere else, but please list early closing information on google. Apparently one should always call this store before making the trek.

I spend sooooo much money at this store, between my shoe fetish and buying shoes for all of my grandchildren, or should I say I SPENT past tense a lot of money. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life as I was treated by this ""employee " today. The lack of knowledge of this stores own advertising of certain pay apps, such as the app ZIP, is ridiculous, then when you say, your employees should know about this since you advertise it in your store, and your told, "now your being disrespectful, you are going to have to leave the store ", WHAT???? All of the other customers around heard the entire discussion and said there is no customer service anymore. SMH. Apparently the employee was the disrespectful one. Well famous footwear you have lost a customer for life. Train your EMPLOYEES to do THEIR job, and do not speak to a grandmother the way you do. You will speak to the wrong person that way and get slapped! No body will stand there as calm as I was, not nowadays.

Please list proper store hours so customers don’t waste time out of their day. Store closes at 7 instead of 8. Arriving at 7:01 was very frustrating.

Hours are not consistent with their door sign.Sign says due to staffing shortages to check Google for updated store hours. Google hours have recently been updated but if you go to the store during those hours, it is dark and no one there. Would like to see a correct hour list so I can make a purchase.

Drove 20 minutes to return 1 item. Got there and saw this. Waited for 30+ minutes with no sign of opening. Unprofessional and rude.

Hope was very rude I will not be returning here ever again. I have always shopped here, have spent plenty of money here and had never experienced a rude employee like her. I will also be calling corporate because of the unnecessary and quite distasteful experience with her. She did not greet as an employee should but had an attitude and spoke with no class. I have asthma and am high risk so I have to carry a bottle of water and meds it was time to take my meds so I pulled it out and took it for a FEW SECONDS literally and was not standing next to not one person as I social distance it’s a must and that is when she came by not asking nor seeing what I was doing and said “um you need to put your mask on” she was very aggressive and attacked me out of nowhere she got loud and said leave the store if you don’t want to wear a mask when all I was doing was taking my meds because I felt dizzy. I was shocked at how classless her assumption and manner was as I was doing it as a medical must not even a minute had gone by I put it right back on because I wear my mask not because she asked I had it off just to take my meds. I wear my mask everywhere, had she asked maybe she would have known I needed my meds immediately because I was feeling dizzy. I am highly disappointed. Please don’t go here. I never will again. HOPE is unprofessional and proceeded to be rude saying “call them I don’t care” Someone please speak to her and let her know she cannot just go around talking to people like that as it is a reflection of that company. It’s not ok.
