Would not recommend spending your money at this location. Please take your business to the Alameda location down the street. Attempted to rent a truck at the Alameda location today and unfortunately their van was in the shop. Not to fear! We have a location up the street (10 minutes away) and we see that they have availability and you have plenty of time to get there before close and rent. I was elated because I just got off work early for this move with people waiting. I drove up to this location, walked in and waited in line. When I got to the tool rental counter at 6:30pm, I informed the man that I need a truck for a max of two hours (honestly that was conservative as I could easily do it in 75 minutes being right down the road in Belmar. So worst case, I’m back at 8:30pm and they close at 9. I was informed by the man at the counter that Home Depot didn’t usually rent out after 6pm....hmmmm since the guy right in front of me walked out seemly satisfied with his rental at 6:30pm....I informed him I had been to another location, they recommended I come here and never mentioned this policy. He then backtracked and said this was this stores policy, as this department closes down at 8:45pm and that would be cutting it close. He then stood there in silence, no probing questions, no alternative solutions and what appeared to be a made up policy so he didn’t have to work. I could see that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with him so I flagged down multiple employees to ask about “this store policy”. NONE of the location employees that I spoke to had ever heard of that before (the store closes at 9pm) and other locations I reached out to were of the mind set that all their locations operated under normal store hours and never heard of this policy either and did not understand why this man refused business to a customer that would be back well within the guidelines of store hours. I can’t speak to other areas of the store (I’m sure they are good) but do not give your business to the tool rental department while this guy works there and is too lazy to have equipment returned 30 minutes prior to close of store. Personal policy of laziness, trying to pass it off as company policy.

Bring back cashiers. Hate taking jobs and then not have all self checkouts open with a huge line.

I shop at this store all of the time. And normally I would give them a great review. But the experience I had recently was absolutely terrible. I purchased a shed from them and it was a terrible experience. They kept trying to blame it on Tuff shed, but if you're going to sell a product. You need to be able to back it up. Their pro desk manager, Bridget really was not very professional or helpful. She just kept acting like she had no control over the situation. But I believe it's just called laziness. The only one that finally helped was John the assistant manager and that was only after days of frustration and me getting pretty escalated to actually get anywhere. Home Depot needs to take better care of their loyal customers that spend thousands of $$ a year at their stores!

80% of your staff knows less about home improvement than my 6yr old. While re-soding our lawn we went to the tool center to rent a tiller. When we asked the disengaged kid sitting at the desk where they were he responded "I'm pretty sure we don't carry those, check the garden center". We went to the garden center confused and were told they didn't have any. Went back to tool rental an my wife pulled it up on her phone showing what said they had them in stock and he said "ya, the website usually isn't right". After a pointless debate, I walked around to find one myself and rented it. I will say when I returned it there was an older man who was very kind and knowledgeable. Another time buying conduit there it took being passed around to 3 associates before someone attempted to answer my question. They were completely wrong, but hey, at least he tried. Point of the story, go here if you know EXACTLY what you need. I never thought I could be a Lowe's guy, but you might want to try Lowe's down the street. Home Depot- step up your hiring or try training your employees

Lumber area was closed off during business hours on 12/02/2018. Employees refused to assist me and insistent that I leave that area. I did indeed leave the area. I went to Lowe's and spent $400.00 on fence materials.

Home improvement projects can be quite a hassle if you dont know what youre doing. The employee at the paint counter was friendly and patient with my questions and also offered suggestions as to its better to get a premium quality paint rather than a cheaper brand. I know this is true since the old adage of " buy cheap, buy twice" has come back to bite me before. This location is not as busy as the Arvada location on Wadsworth and the employees seem friendlier here.

Every time I go it's got a little less traffic than others but that's ok because it means I can actually find someone to help me locate what I'm looking for. Definitely my favorite Home Depot!

When I have to get anything house related, I come here. Clean, parking is always great, they have better prices than Lowe's, for basically the same stuff. What could be better? The people are all super helpful as well when you need help finding something. Might be a wait when you need wood, or a chain cut, but overall worth it! It's also close to my home, so I'm a little biased! They also have an amazing paint selection! Their summer plant section is also a guilty pleasure of mine! It makes me want to redo my whole yard!

Honestly was cheaper to just but the stupid tool than rent it for a day. Though they are useful for larger equipment

Thanks for not being like Lowes. Even though he employees here are just about as incompetent at the very least they have all of the professional construction grade materials I always need. I love the organization too.

Amy in the Garden Department was fantastic!!! She helped me find the perfect pot for my plant and even cleaned it out for me, so it would be all clean for me to take home!
