If you plan on wasting money then this is the shop for you! 3K spent on suspension and engine issues that were never resolved and when I called back I was told I would need to spend another 1-2 thousand dollars for something THEY failed to replace the first time.

These guys are amazing honest mechanics that do a great job, always on the phone making sure you is the customer know exactly what's going on step by step with your vehicle never charging for anything you didn't expect to be charged for. I can watch then we refer people to these guys and will continue to do so.

We had a problem with our Chrylser 300S that was causing our car to vibrate on the road at 40mph or more. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and we had our car back the next day with OEM replacement parts. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. This is our 2nd time taking our car in to Lakewood Five Star for a repair. Great mechanics!

Be careful if you use these guys, they milked a problem beyond acceptable amount for me. I had a slight knocking noise on my 4wd that they told me it needed nearly all of my front end components replacing, I trusted them and approved it and paid nearly 5k. Unfortunately the noise was still there!! so I took it back to green mountain auto world who found the issue within 1 hour of inspection and didn’t charge me to fix it, it was such a small thing (left sway link needed greasing). I personally won’t use these guys again as I feel like if they didn’t know about the sway bar link then they have poor troubleshooting skills and if they did know they they abused my trust in them and milked what should have very cheap job.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!
I've been bringing my vehicle to Lakewood 5 Star for about 2 years now. Every time I've had something other than an oil change done, I've had to bring my vehicle back due to faulty parts. I've continued to bring it back because they always take care of it and do the right thing, but not today...
Today I brought my car in for the 4th time in two years due to squeaking brakes (second time in a month and a half). Once again, they said it was squeking due to faulty parts that they put on, and they offered to replace. This time however, they actually charged me for the labor? Are you kidding me? Why am I being penalized for you all using crappy parts, or you improperly diagnosing my car the first time?
I feel like they have been dishonest with me from the get go, and they order their parts from Temu but charge dealership prices. Today was the final straw and I will never be bringing my vehicle back to Lakewood 5 Star. I hope others take my warning.

James did a great job fixing my 2010 Acura RDX. He was able to diagnose and fix an issue with my alternator that could have led to me being stranded and he found it based on my vague description of the car “sounding different when I started it up.” He also fixed an issue I was having with my air conditioning for a very reasonable price. He is always friendly and respectful. James and Five Star Automotive will always be my first call when I’m having automotive troubles.

He took the time to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was in great shape. OT was very friendly and helpful. I totally depend on my car to car for my daughter with disabilities. My car had a few problems and they fixed them all on the same day for a fair price. I will definitely use them from now on. I highly recommend this amazing company.

James and his team did an outstanding job repairing our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. The cost of replacing the temperature gauge and the turn signal bulbs was fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend this auto shop.

James did an awesome job on my Jeep! I had a lot of noise out of the suspension from years of avoiding repairs, but never realized how bad it was until he helped me get it back to a nice condition. He helped me pick the more important repairs and what could wait a bit longer until I had all the money needed to fix it right.

Took my 98 blazer and for new shocks and struts. Had to take the vehicle back Three times because it started making noise on the right front side every time I would drive it although I was told the noise would go away after a few days. I took the vehicle back three times to have the tie rod inspected and it was replaced three times, yet the noise never went away. Each time I took it back, apparently there was something different wrong they wanted to fix to see if that would make the noise stop. Needless to say, I have now spent $3000 on repairs and the noise is still there. OT wanted me to take the vehicle back AGAIN although he said he didn’t know what was causing that noise. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a female, and I went into the shop by myself.
