Cannot say enough good things about Dwayne in the garden center! He took lots of time to help me pick out plants specific for my situation and was extremely helpful with all his tips and tricks. Very patient and kind and understanding

They had a row of barbecue grills on end of season clearance. Nothing about them being defective, just end of season clearance. My husband bought one and brought it home only to find out that it was missing one of the burners. He brought it back within an hour , and was told he couldn't return it, and would have to contact the manufacturer. When he spoke to the manager and explained that the grills were not sold as defective, she was incredibly rude. He pointed out that there was another grill, same model, with no missing pieces next to it, and he wanted to exchange it for that one. After a lot of pushback, she finally told him that she would do him a favor just once and exchange it. We've spent so much money at this store while remodeling our house. It used to be a great store, but this manager is unhinged. She did the exact same thing to me about 8 months ago when I tried to return a microwave that I ordered online, after finding out that the dimensions online were wrong. Home Depot is a few miles down the road and worth the extra few minutes drive. No issues with customer service there, so we've exclusively purchased all of our job materials there and have been very pleased with their service.

we bought a new refrigerator from our local Lowe's store. The first one they delivered was dented and the water system did not work correctly. They then brought us another one. Which also was dented. At this point they told us they would give us a credit, and they bought us a third one which works well. When we went to get the credit, they gave us a measly $25 for our extreme aggravation and the loss of some of our food from thawing and going bad. We would never recommend the Lakewood Lowe's store. If I could give it a zero I would. I am also canceling my credit card that I got from Lowe's and will continue to shop at Home Depot.

How does this Lowe's have such a bad rating?! This is the best Lowe's, and best home improvement store I've ever been to! Everyone was so incredibly helpful and friendly, I had three different people help me! They had everything I needed, and it was a very clean store.

We went to Lowes today (store 1903 on West Colfax) to shop for a vanity for the bathroom, a sales associate named Doug asked if we needed help and from then on, he was with us and helped us get the vanity onto a cart as well as a new toilet and gave us valuable guidance regarding plumbing fixtures for underneath a sink. This was probably the best customer service experience we've ever had at Lowes. He also helped us load the larger items into our car. Thanks Doug for all of your help, if all stores had a sales associate like you, there would never be even one complaint from anyone ever. You're great!

If there was a negative I would use one- Needed assistance in the storage container section- we asked an employee standing in the isle for assistance- he replied all containers they had were down, which was not the case, I wanted one that was not lower and needed a fork lift. I asked him and another standing by the appliance area for assistance, one kind gentleman let the other guy know he couldn't use the forklift so suggested he find a person to help. OBVIOUSLY the manager didn't want our service, he walked away - we thought he was getting a forklift- but NO! He never returned, and neither will we. Home Depot down the road had the same item and they didn't hesitate to get a forklift to assist me. Very disappointing since we had only been shopping at this Lowe's and now our time is done there .

This seems to be a recurring problem at every Lowe's I go to... there's never enough employees. I have the hardest time ever getting help when I need it. Whether that is getting a tool unlocked, paint mixed, or getting something off a shelf, I have to wonder around for like 10 minutes to find someone that can help. Please hire more people

Just a heads up. Lowes will no longer assist putting a $100 Christmas tree on your car. I've gone here for many years and the clerk is always happy with a $20 tip for 5 minutes to twine it on the roof . Next year Ace hardware it is. Sorry to be the Grinch. Just disappointed. Happy Holidaze folks

We used to frequent this location for the majority of our renovation needs. Unfortunately, the customer service has declined tremendously in the past year. We've had issues multiple times with cashiers ringing up items incorrectly or not applying a coupon. This entails us having to wait in line again at customer service. Today, the appliance department manager was extremely difficult to work with. She walked away several times when we were trying to find someone to help us. We called back later with our questions. She was very impatient, and gave us information that we know is incorrect. When spending thousands of dollars on appliances, the lack of customer service is a definite red flag.

The service in the appliance department is terrible. I walked up to customer service three times to ask for help. An announcement was made but no one showed up . I waited for 20 minutes because today was the last day of the sale. Finally I saw a red coat. He was helping another party and told me he would be with us soon. He did indeed take care of me. I had to call the store because they neglected to give me some information I needed for my rebate. Thst phone call took me 30 minutes to get through. While I was on the phone with customer service she was talking with someone else and put me on hold x 3. Terrible service! Dissatisfied customer

I went to return houseplants with the original card that I use and was told by Mandy and the manager today at 10:30 that I was unable to return my plants although they were plants inside of the pot with roots connected to them and fully rooted, the Lowe's policy states that I am allowed to return plants up to a year of purchase and I provided proof of that to Mandy and she told me that I was wrong I have proof that I have in-store credit previously from returning houseplants that have died in my purchase that look pretty much dead, I feel that I was treated differently based upon how I look and was last night when I brought in my plants. I feel this is why I choose Home Depot over Lowes as Home Depot has the clear policy and the employees follow the policy with consistency, this Lowe's in particular in the Arvada location have treated me differently rather than various other locations in Denver that have excepted my previous returns. The manager didn't even come talk to me only Mandy spoke to me even though she said that she was getting a manager for me, I feel I wasn't taken seriously and if you look a certain way you will be treated differently

I was on three phone calls back to back disconnected once almost thirty minutes total. Just another example of Lowe's customer service model Management or who ever need to be replaced or shut the whole thing down
