Super amazing crew. Brought my car in for a 2nd opinion to make sure things were running properly after getting it repaired and they test drove it, recalibrated sensors and told me to bring it back if the thing started happening again. Great peace of mind for me and I would highly recommend this shop! Trustworthy!

Had a really negative experience here. Took my car in for a noise, originally was quoted 800 and they werent sure if it would fix the noise. Then another man comes in and said that the other guy was wrong, now has to fix my wheel and wheel bearing for over 1k. I am a single woman, college student, and toddler teacher so I expressed my concern about the price. The man Fred, really offended me by asking “Do you think your parents can help you out this time?” I am a single woman in my late 20s, my parents arent even in the state. He then kept saying how I needed new tires, I couldnt afford that and said I would go to Costco, then he said how I was making a bad decision by “letting random cashiers work on my car instead of midas” when thats not how it works, I genuinely just dont have the money. At this point they already had my car. When I came back to pick up my car, they magically gave me a large discount. I was very confused but they said they felt bad about me being stressed about cash. I believe they initially overcharged me and then adjusted the price. The tech who worked on my car was very kind and Im happy he stood his ground and demanded the correct fix instead of what Fred said. I am a single young woman, who is already a target for predatory practices by places like this. Take your business elsewhere, I cannot believe that Fred spoke to me that way

Midas in Lakewood is my go-to. I've been going there for 7 years and fully trust everyone who works there. They aren't pushy or try to oversell, they just let you know what you need and it's up to you if you move forward. I always feel welcome, supported, and taken care of. Great location, great staff/mechanics, great all-around experience.

Came in thinking I would need to replace my CV axle(s). Ethan was very honest about my CV axles still being good and not recommending them getting replaced and pointing to something else.
Long story short, they were able to get my problem fixed for pennies for what I thought I was going to have to pay for a repair. I will recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

These guys checked out a bunch of miscellaneous concerns on my vehicle and I was expecting a diagnostic fee, but because no work ended up being needed other than topping off fluids and air in the tires, they waived the fee. Really appreciate that!
