All I knew was that the idea of a bed adjusting to me instead of me adjusting to the bed sounded pretty good. After a couple hours with Larry the store manager (mostly spent our backs), I came away with a clear appreciation for the quality and comfort of Sleep Number and a new bed on the way. The professional presentation and the bed sold it.

Everything went well until we sat for the final contract with Larry. My wife and I both remember being told a mattress pad was included with the purchase. We were told that “was not said” rather indignantly, and although it was only about $150 of the purchase (1%) the discord without an apology or consolatory statement left us with a bad impression and lack of trust. Again, we both know what we heard and repeated back as we were weighing the cost and the value of the deal and to be dismissed and told we were wrong felt disrespectful. Even after we left the store when we discussed canceling the sale over the handling we decided to go forward and not to cancel on 1% principle. The money wasn’t the point, how we were treated was.

Larry was fantastic. We were educated and shown how the sleep number beds work and how this can benefit our sleep habits and health. Never once was there a negative comment or statement about any other matress or manufacturer, just good clean information. At no time did we feel pressured to buy. Definitely recommend visiting this location.

I tried to go purchase pillows on Easter Sunday. The store said it was open on the site but it ended up being closed when we arrived. We respect the religious time at church and family. There was a promotion for buy one pillow get one 50% off. I wasn’t able to get back to the store until today. I wanted to purchase them and asked if they could honor the promotion, she said is not allowed to take discounts. I said ok, but I tried to come during the promotion days ago. I asked if I should call customer service and she said sure and gave me the number. I awkwardly sat there on hold for 10min with her and then I said I’ve got to go as it’s been too long (and uncomfortable). I could’ve been a customer but now I’ve wasted 1:15min of driving to and from a store 2x and then an employee unable to make a logical and fair decision given my attempt to purchase but unexpectedly the store was closed and timing driving to the store. I can’t in good conscience be a customer. It could’ve started with a pillow that we loved and then came back for a mattress and the foot warmer was great. But now I’m left with a sour experience due to not empowering employees in the store. All the power I have is where I make my purchases so unfortunately I won’t be making one with sleepnumber.

Your suggestion that we lie on a bed to test pillows truly made our decisions on the best pillow for each us easy. We are enjoying both pillows.

***DO NOT BUY A SLEEP NUMBER BED***The photo attached is of a $6,000 I10 bed that is now sitting against a wall after 7 days of the absolute worst sleep of my life... Mind you the only reason it's sitting against the wall currently is because, The worst customer service to go along with the worst bed is making me wait 31 days to return it!!! Oh and the best part is. I am now stuck with a $4,000 adjustable base. Do yourself the biggest favor you can and just don't even bother going in. It's a $6,000 glorified air mattress. I literally went and bought a temperpedic today because I cannot sleep on that sleep number bed another night.

Larry does a wonderful job! His store is all about the customer experience. I had never tried a Sleep Number bed and he walked me thru it all so I was able to make an informed decision - at the same time also making sure other customers were informed of wait times and able to be assisted. Everyone was treated like a valued customer even if they were just browsing. I highly recommend going to see him even if you are just looking. You will be happy you did.
