original review. Approxamatly 20 hours after I left a very unhappy google review, I recieved a call. Mind you, I left no contact information and my name was not associated. They had the full amount in my account. I have mixed feelings about my experience. On the one hand, I'm very happy to have my money but I think it's utterly shameful that it took a gosh darn google review to elicit a response.Possibly this is more a comment on where we are as a society(old man yelling at cloud) LOL!I'm going to leave my original review but with this addendum for context.I will definitely say that Eric B was direct, to the point, professional and I wish I would have encountered him far earlier in this process!I was in communication with an R Stokes and got NOWHERE.Thank you Eric!-ORIGINAL REVIEW-These folks are, in my opinion, incompetent, dishonest, or a combination of the two.The short version is...they recieved a $1400.00 check for a refund for an account overpayment and refuse to give it back to me because they don't know what they did with it.I've provided soopers with copies of the check that they cashed nearly three months prior.They do not dispute that they recieved the money but since soopers can't figure out what THEY did with my money, I don't get it back. SCUM!!!I spoke with representatives at this location as well as the Aurora location.

I’m writing this review in reference to Cristina Webber and Vanessa who is a teller I forget her last name both of these young ladies are the Heart and Soul of Sooper Credit Union Lakewood me and my husband Steve literally do not trust anyone else in there to perform our financial transactions some months back the new office manager messed up on my husbands credit card payment causing his card to be over-drafted she did not even have the decency to call and tell us so when we went to use the credit card it declined it that’s how we found out well guess who fixed it Cristina to be honest she should have been the office manager she is very professional and knowledgeable about the business anytime we come in she greets us like family and she knows everything about our accounts the same thing with Vanessa there is nothing Vanessa does not know about our accounts we literally trust these two with all of our business transactions if the two of them ever leave to another financial institution we would probably follow them in the 13 years we have been clients the last 2 years there has been a lot of turn over in the administrative leadership and it has not been good because of Cristina and Vanessa we stay these two make the whole difference in this Credit Union the top administration need to be more aware of who they choose to put in leadership roles if not for Cristina and Vanessa I would have given one starShout out to two very well put together professional young ladies you are appreciatedAndrea and Steve Garcia

The amount of time it takes to get a hold of anyone to fix a simple problem with a card is on average 20-30 minutes every time to finally get a hold of someone for a 5 minute fix...

I was in deep trouble trying to get some information from my bank. I came to talk to them and was encountered by two of the most terrific workers. I don't know their names but one is a gentleman one as a young lady and they work in the front desk. No hesitation no rolling of the eyes just great service I got what I needed and in no time I was on my way with a smile on my face. Kudos to the best staff in customer service. Thanks again

Not too happy with how the bank runs things, but my experience today with Jericho was absolutely amazing. She is extremely nice and very personable. I went in there in a seriously irritated mood and she deescalated it almost immediately. She explain things to me in words that I could understand and helped me get done what I needed to get done. She is a perfect fit for the job that she does.

I have ONLY used Credit Unions for the past 15 years. I will NEVER again use a bank for checking/savings. The credit union on Wads & Florida is a nice place to bank. Some of their employees are not particularly "professional" (I'm old school), but I get fine service, attention to detail, and responsiveness from them overall. :-)

Beware, they have falsely reported late payments on my loan twice (verifiable). The first time, they held onto my payment for over a week, they received it July 23, didn't process it until August 2 (verifiable), so they didn't process it until after 30 days past due date. The lending director refused to accept responsibility, and the negative impact remained. Now, the next month, my loan was even just paid off this week before 30 days past due date, and they just reported it 30 days late again when it wouldn't be 30 days until August 29th (today is August 26th, it was paid off August 24th, also verifiable). Yet, low and behold, another 30 day late ding on my credit.

Surreal. Pretty much the worst banking experience of my life and I've spent 12 years with Wells Fargo so that is quite a statement. I sent them a car payment on March 16th. They inexplicably returned it on April 2nd. They have no explanation as to why and yet they still call and harass me everyday about why I am late. Just spent 2 hours on hold with three different people all who have no idea about anything. Congratulations your bank is officially as gross and as useless as your grocery store is.

Please be extremely cautious when obtaining a loan for the organization. My husband just prior to our marriage received an auto loan from them. They said due to his low credit he could only go to one car lot that had very low reviews and all the vehicles were trash! As I advised him he should wait and let me pull a loan and get himself a decent car. He did not..... thousands later we are done with this horrible credit union. Long story short he paid for the warranty from this questionable auto lot. We maxed out the warranty on the first year of owning a vehicle, yes there were that many problems. We personally put over $10,000 in the vehicle on additional issues. And when he lost his job we didn’t have the money to do even more additional work to this money pit and pay the auto loan so we decided to let it go back. Not only did they charge him interest for the full loan amount not including the auto payments that had been paid at this point but then they continued to charge him an additional interest rate on the balance that the they deemed owed to them while he made payments. I told him he should’ve fought these questionable individuals from the beginning. But of course him being a passive individual didn’t wanna create waves. So a vehicle with a bluebook value of less than $6000 that he paid over $16,000 for has cost us close to $40,000 in the end. Please be very very cautious when dealing with this credit union!

BEWARE! I have nothing positive to say about this credit union, if I could give 0 stars I would!The final straw was when I paid off my car loan, I asked 3 people several questions so I could make sure I was doing things correctly including, is there anything else I need to do so I don't get charged anymore fees? The answers I got were no...well nearly a month after it was paid off, guess what? The amount of my monthly payment came out of my checking account and because I wasn't planning on it, I didn't have that amount in my account so I was charged 2 insufficient funds fees. I spoke to someone from customer service and said I want my money back and I want your company to cover the fees I was charged. Their response? Well it's not our fault, you need to speak to the bank you use for your checking. EXCUSE ME? Why do they need to refund something that wasn't their fault?? My bank was kind enough to reverse those fees which is why I love my bank.I wouldn't recommend Sooper Credit Union to my worst enemy!

I was finally able to get away from this place forever. I’ve had to deal with this trash establishment for a few years now and they’ve been terrible from the start. It’s finally over!!! Stay away from this place!!!

Soopers credit union has been my bank for 7+ years. Never had a bad experience. Always helpful. I recently refinanced my auto loan at a lower rate ...cut my payment in half. Bank manager Gianna was super helpful in getting everything set up and administrated. THANKS
